The hotel rooms are very basic and a bit shabby but the staff are helpful and the breakfast was good. We stayed in what they called the Annes suite, lounge downstairs and bathroom, bedroom upstairs. Moved the sofa in lounge closer to tv and behind it were crisps and rubbish which the cleaner had missed ( see picture). were going...

Did not get football result we wanted but was pleased with hotel. Does need updating, but was clean and tidy. Room was very warm and the hot water was very hot! Breakfast was cooked to order and was tasty and was just enough. The location opposite the bridge brewery was good and we did not use the bar so have...

I stay at this hotel quite a lot with work and it is quite funny. I must have been in about 5 or 6 different rooms now and it is like it is stuck in the 1980s. In fact, I bet in the 1980s it was quite smart. Phones next to the loo.... never checked if they work as can't...

Had a nice stay at this hotel. Lovely clean rooms. Cooked breakfast option was also very nice. Lots of car parking. Hotel is close to town and pubs, across the road from the Burton Bridge Pub. Would stay again.

I am writing this review because of the excellent value and polite staff I encountered at this hotel during a weekend stay. First the negative, the hotel could do with a bit of TLC and modernising, but don't let this deter you because it more than made up for through the polite helpful staff and room rates! Now for the...

We booked last minute so went in knowing we might not have the best room. As it goes the room was very clean and tidy, it was however very dated and next to the road meaning we had little sleep with the traffic all night. The breakfast was awful! On the menu it states takes a little longer because it's...

This hotel is in a great position for visiting the National brewery centre as it is literally across the road from a great venue and on first appearance the hotel appears very good value for money, however on approaching the desk and being asked how we would like to pay for a room we had booked and paid for 6...

Stayed for one night during a forces reunion weekend. The hotel is situated fairly close and within walking distance of the town centre. There is ample parking. The rooms are adadequate and have all you would need for a short stay though they are showing signs of wear. Can't fault the staff who are efficient and friendly. Food and bar...

The room was spacious, clean and lovely, the bed was really comfortable however that is it.... The bar should have been open until 11pm but closed at 10:15- the staff member called Lisa who proclaimed to be the manager was rude to us blatantly and very very ignorant with no people skills whatsoever. The breakfast staff were clumsy and sarcastic-...
