Ideal location for our group of 25 family and friends to spend a long weekend break together. The cottages were well appointed and all essentials provided with the exception of towels, (which was made clear when booking).Plenty of parking available.Individual cottages accommodated between 2 and 8 persons. Lovely setting beside the reservoir. Dogs allowed to stay in some of the...

A 1 mile track to get here with enormous pot holes which when filled with water cannot be seen. Pretty sure some cars have been damaged. Clearly these cottages are a side line to the farm and I got the overall impression no one really cared. It does say hidden in the blurb they do not supply towels but I...

I am so sorry you were less than happy with your visit to us. I can only apologise. I am not sure when you visited us but I can assure you that the pot holes in the drive have been filled in the last 10 days when the rain eventually stopped. People do not mind the length of the drive...

We have been coming here for a number of years, at least 4 visits last year! We stay in either Swallow or Widgeon, these being the two places that pets are allowed to stay there with you. The converted barns are well furnished with comfortable furniture and there is a private fishing pond at the farm where you can fish...

Just got back from a 'family weekend' where 23 of us stayed here comfortably across barn conversion style accomodation, some with linking doors. Quality of furnishings and fixings was great - loads of cutlery, TV and freeview, showers were hot, plenty of radiators for warmth in winter. Plus a decking and outside table and chairs overlooking lake and fields. Home...

What a fantastic place for a wedding. Stunning location and fantastic owners who let you get on with things and leave you alone. We had a marquee from smart party marquess in Sutton Coldfield. Hog roast from Astons of Coven, Buffett from Jessica's at Cannock. Having the place for the weekend meant we had 3 days of fun and festivities....

We had our wedding reception in a marquee at blithfield lakeside barns and had the most wonderful weekend. The venue is beautiful and the cottages are lovely. This was a perfect place for our family and friends to stay with us and we had a barbecue the day after our wedding. Kris and her family were really helpful and helped...

Visited for a family weekend, 21 of us over three generations in 4 of the wonderful cottages. All have character, beams and wonderful facilities , it was a superb place to stay, also near to National Arboretum. Walked (overlooks the gorgeous reservoir) BBQ'd, croquet, dogs loved it as well, GO!

Hi. I am not sure your review will give the correct impression of our Holiday Cottages as we are not a destination for a "Day Out" as you have to stay for a short break of 2/3 nights at the very minimum and we do not serve food. Perhaps you were visiting friends who were staying here. However I am...

A great place with marvelous views and walks around a huge reservoir. Wild life and fishing in abundance. Lovely picnic spots. On a nice day there is nothing better than sitting taking it all in. Just let the world pass you bye.

A very peaceful place and well maintained. We stayed in kingfisher with 3 bedrooms and everything you could need for the stay with space and utensils in the kitchen to comfortably have family round for Sunday lunch. Even in chilly winter months the cottages are cosy and warm. A refreshing walk around the lake and seeing the birds, squirrels, wild...
