We Visited at the weekend for a quick drink with the family, the play park and bouncy castle outside are perfect for the kids while we relaxed for a short while, been here many times as its local, however, this time I felt I had to comment, firstly, I have always enjoyed a drink here in the past as its... On arrival everything seemed nice and the staff seemed friendly however we were shown to our room and we had to ask for the travel cot which we booked and it barely fit in the room we had to move furniture to fit it in. I put my 14 month old on the floor while we put it up and... More

The Plough at Fazeley I looked at the previous trip advisor reports which give a mixed bag of comment as to this coaching house establishment. I am non-judgmental, until I have the facts and experience. The photographs on the web site, showing the beer garden and children's activities area are extremely misleading. The beer garden itself has five tables and... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights whilst visiting family in the Midlands. Our room and the accommodation could be best described as being quite basic throughout. It is definately a budget hotel. The property is very tired and shabby throughout with creaking stairs & flaking paint, and is in urgent need of refurbishment. The room was quite clean... More

Stayed here for 2 nights 11th / 12th February 2016. Couldn't find the front door at first, turns out you have to go in to the bar to check in. Ok if its not 21:00 and you have to take a tired 6 year old in with you. The room was right next door to the bar and opened up... More

I used to stay regularly there since 1999 at least once a year for at least a couple of nights - often more. Reason being excellent location only 13 miles from the NEC with easy access, free car park, wonderful rooms with a unique atmosphere due to visible wood framed roof construction of the really old building - plus it... However the room was terrible and the shower kept making a loud noise for ages after use. The tv was really high up and... More

I have just come back from a two night stay here with my partner, two year old and the in-laws. I chose this hotel/B&B because it was very close to Drayton manor/Thomas land which was perfect for us as we had two day tickets for Thomas land. After reading some reviews on this hotel I was a bit unsure of... More

My husband and I stayed this week for three nights with a little boy we look after. We were looking for somewhere inexpensive but suitable for his needs within walking distance of Drayton Manor. The triple room was even better than we'd hoped for, with two separate bedrooms a bathroom, plus helpfully a key lock rather than the thumb turn... More
