The thrills and spills of some of England's best theme parks, or the picturesque beauty of the Peak District? Get the best of both at Premier Inn Hotel Uttoxeter, on the outskirts of this historic market town. If you're here for work, we're close to key destinations like JCB headquarters, too. We're handily located just off the A50 at the junction with Derby Road - so while the hotel may not be our quietest, you're in a great position to hit the road and discover everything the area has to offer. Take a flutter at Uttoxeter Racecourse, or a wild ride at Alton Towers. Step back in time at Sudbury Hall and the Museum of Childhood, or explore the ruins of Croxden Abbey. After a busy day, head back for a tasty meal in our restaurant and unwind in your spacious room and extra-comfy bed. Please note, there is a service station and a lorry park next door, both of which operate around the clock.

we paid just over £100 for two-course dinner + drink, bed and breakfast for 2 people. the dinner was OK, the breakfast excellent and the room and bed comfortable. We come here to stay when visiting family and it never disappoints the hotel is newly refurnished, clean, spic and span

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in May 2023. We had to move rooms as the Air Con in first room was really noisy and unable to sleep. The Reception Staff were all amazing about changing the room. ** The reception Staff were very friendly throughout our stay ** Rooms are ok, clean but very basic ** I would stay at this hotel again if needed.

Great Premier Inn stay. We stayed here whilst visiting Alton Towers with my wife and two younger kids. The team are amazing and we where well looked after when we got in the room we had a personalised welcome note and some penguin bars which was a great touch! The room was very clean and couldn't fault it. Breakfast was as expected we will be staying again

Overall very good. Helpful staff. Air con in the rooms worked well. Asked for a cot and this was no problem. There was some colouring left for my son which was a nice touch. Would stay again if in the area.

Stayed here a few times, very handy for Uttoxeter racecourse. Good staff, good parking. Restaurant Manager went out of his way to be helpful when we turned up for dinner in the evening. Good breakfast and stayed around until 11am having coffee. Didn't have to check out until 12.00 which helped as racecourse opened at 12.40. Allround a very good stay.

Stopped here for the race day and coronation treat, very comfortable had a good nights sleep great food friendly staff rooms had a bath as well as a shower so really pleased with the choice. Only critics is the restaurant bar has a lot of kids in there as eats kids eat for free deals but when they drop food on the carpet it is not cleaned up but just left, more attention needed by restaurant staff.

We booked this hotel as we needed a place to stay for two nights as we’d visited Birmingham and then visited Alton Towers the following day. The hotel is top notch as always and in a great spot as Alton Towers is only a quarter of an hour drive away. The room is perfect as with all the other Premier Inn’s so would highly recommend if you are in the area.

Room Tip: Bring own vehicle as it’s at road side and not the town centre.

Girl on reception when we came in was lovely that’s about the only thing this hotels got going for it aswell as a decent sleep. Me and my partner came from a long day at alton towers so we was shattered , we saw the menu in our room and decided we’d get food to our room. Don’t be deceived as when we went downstairs to restaurant we was told we’d have to fetch the food ourselves so it’s not room service at all. Also don’t bother paying extra for a sharing platter it’s pretty much the equivalent of a child’s meal if it was on a plate. Got hardly any beef chilli in the nachos which again was an upgrade we had paid for, pointless. In the morning came down for breakfast and my partner was made to feel like she was an inconvenience because she asked for gluten free bread from staff who where speaking to other staff and being rude when we requested what my partner needed to actually be able to eat because she’s celiac. All in all thank you to the lovely blonde haired girl on reception (evening 3rd of may, sorry didn’t get her name) who was pretty much the only plus point of our trip. We’ll stick to leek town centre next time.
