The staff were very kind and friendly overall. Unfortunately, the bed was most uncomfortable and too soft and it sloped down to the middle, so that my wife and I did not sleep well at all over the two night stay. The evening meals were limited in choice and vastly over priced for the size and the quality of the food. Out of a choice of about five desserts, the one dessert we chose was not available which was disappointing. The breakfast each morning was adequate but certain items like mushrooms and tomatoes were not served for the cooked breakfast. Rather disappointing experience.

Great value for money. The hotel facilities could get some upgrade but the staff were excellent. We booked through a partnering site and we were a little worried about any missing small prints. The staff at the hotel, especially Areeya and the restaurant were exceptional. The spa was amazing and the therapist, Cailtlin Holt was thoroughly professional and did an exceptional job.

Dear 5paras Thank you so very much for the wonderful feedback with regards to your recent stay. The small team that we have here at the hotel work really hard to look after all of our guests - Its lovely to read that team members receive recognition publicly from our guests. I hope that we can welcome you back when next in the area, Have a wonderful weekend! Peter & the team

Had a spa weekend with my Mum and had a lovely time. The spa and pool facilities are fantastic, the relaxation room really topped it all off! The hotel staff were lovely and dinner was great! The spa weekend package is definitely worth the price

We had a good stay at the hotel, the staff were all lovely and the spa facilities were great. The hotel was a bit tired in terms of decor and could definitely do with a refresh, particularly in the dining room. Also the food was way over priced for the quality and quantity. They were charging top quality restaurant prices for below average meals. If you want a great dinner try Pronto Italiano in town, fantastic food and much better value. Overall we had a nice stay and this hotel could be great with a refurb a rethink on the food prices and some attention to detail in the cleaning.

What a wonderful experience we had at the Macdonald Frimley Hall Hotel. We would like to express how grateful we are for the caring attention all the team gave us during our stay from 20th to 22nd March. We found you by pure chance. We arrived very early in the morning on the ferry at Newhaven with heavy head colds and utterly exhausted having travelled by car from Barcelona, through France. We were met by Daniel C. and Iryna, who helped us to our room (#36) with all our luggage. They assisted us with our Wi-Fi and Blue Tooth needs (being +60-year-olds), brought us extra milk for our tea and coffee, extra towels and generally nursed us back to health. They were fabulous. Another wonderful person who made us feel at home was Emma. Although busy with her dining duties, she kept us company and really looked after us. What a lovely, hard-working person she is, very amenable and attentive. My husband would also like to shout out for Freya who helped him around the dining room and library and was very patient. We would both like to thank the cleaning staff who were wonderful with us and our room (although a tad tired) was immaculately clean. The shower was hot and the beds were amazing, great fluffy pillows. Also, having fresh running water on hand was a great idea and we drank litres to clear our heads. In all it was a great start to our UK tour, visiting family. Thank you for looking after us. We will be back!

Room Tip: Car park at the hotel has plenty of spaces all around. Great Italian in Camberley called Pronto.
