Booked afternoon tea for my 30th Birthday. Even rung to confirm my booking. Arrived and they didn't have my booking. Luckily they accommodated us but the food and services was very poor. Totally ruined my birthday treat with friends

Stayed on business and didn't pick up the room bill. The room was small and overlooked a flat roof with the hum of air conditioning units. The bar menu has no gluten free options unless you eat salad and they tried to offer me chips that had been cooked in the same oil as fish batter. The restaurant had few...

I booked frimley hall for a night away for my partner and I before the birth of our third child. With two young children already at home we were hoping for a relaxing stay. We were initially surprised at the appearance of the hotel, which isn't really clearly shown in the professional photos. The front of the building is as...

Looking forward to a relaxing spa day. But. Very poor customer service from the receptionist and the manager. They had only been in their jobs for 3 days, as they continually told us. No greeting on arrival or offer of refreshment, and were told by the manager to 'hang around in the changing room for half an hour whilst I...

Stayed just one night here, my room was in the new part of the building and although it was comfortable it was very small. My colleague who booked at the same time and price as me had a huge suite in the old part of the building. You have to drive through a residential area to get to it, don't...

I was worried about what to expect, after reading some of the reviews on this site but, I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were fine, with a clean, modern bathroom. The view from my room was awful, but I didn't spend a lot of time in it. The food was good, if not pricey, with a...

Service was poor by bar & reception. A mistake made by central reservations meant they had omitted to book us into restaurant as part of our DBB deal. I was told by reception staff I would have to have bar food as restaurant fully booked. I complained and after 2 conversations was told I could habe 8.30pm table. Ordered light...

Weekend spa break. We've stayed in a Macdonad Hotel and Spa before so we were confident in what to expect. The hotel was lovely, a grand country manor in beautiful surroundings. Staff were lovely although we did have some initial troubles with bookings. If you experience any problems, it is much more efficient to contact their customer service call centre...

My treatment time was cut by half due to the previous cleint taking some time to dress after her treatment. Thank you for your review. Please accept my apologies for the issue experienced with your treatment. In terms of loungers around the pool, due to the width of the area around the pool, we can only fit 10 loungers to ensure we meet Health & Safety regulations. What a great value offer. The spa is not the best but given the cost of the whole package, it was fine. The steam room wasn't warm and there is no water fountain in changing room or by the pool/spa area. The were quite a few loungers although most were taken with people's towels.
