A mixed bag, to be fair... Plus points: quiet, plenty of parking, spacious room, iron and ironing board, good shower, shoe-polish machine in stairwell and king-size bed. Minus points: random gurgles every 5 minutes from the radiator, mind-numbing hummmmm from bathroom extractor fan, uncomfortable bed (ibis/premier much better), pillows smelt somewhat unwashed (numerous previous visitors' heads made their past occupancy...

The hotel is a little dated and the staff, although helpful when asked, were not forthcoming in providing service. However the room was very comfortable and clean. It was warm, with a personal air-con/heater in each room enabling an ambient temperature. The breakfast was as you would expect. Tea and coffee were served, and extra when asked. Toast was also...

Opened by Baroness Thatcher in 2001 as the rather creepy portraits in reception remind you, and presumably left unchanged since as a tribute to her. Creepy belligerent staff, clean beds in grubby rooms with highly defective plumbing, cold, radiators don't work, 'double' might be a double or could be a twin. I won't be back. Tired old place full of...

I made a last minute booking here and reading another review which mentioned Premier Inn, I wished I'd booked in there instead. Having stayed in many hotels over the years for business, this must rate down in the dregs as one of the worst!! The check in was carried out by a person who I wondered whether they knew or...

Attended a party at the neighbouring Lakeside International but could only get a room in the Continental. £129.00 for a family room. Was surprised at how dark and old fashioned the hotel reception was and the lady who checked us in, although pleasant just told us our room number and that it was on the 2nd floor, no directions and...

Staying with a colleague, work had inadvertently booked us in the Continental, rather than the International. It is a fairly modern looking hotel, though the setting is rather run down and somewhat reminiscent of the 1960's. The male receptionist was not particularly helpful or friendly with no offer of help with the luggage or very clear direction about where the...

It's ok for one night but if you have other options then try to avoid it. Over priced, dated and dull place. Stayed here for business purpose because of the location. My room was a good sized and clean, apart from that nothing positive unfortunately.

I usually stop at the Premier Inn camberley but to my horror it was full. The reception staff were pleasant but unprofessional, the bar and waiting staff were again pleasant but the service was odd. They brand themselves as an international hotel but you order at the bar (you can dine in the restaurant) and young people shout out your...

I am astounded that this hotel charges over £100 a night! Where do I start! There are two hotels on site, the international and continental. I stayed on the continental but visited both. It reminded me of the crossroads motel in the 80s. Old and run down and of that era. The staff at reception in the international I found...
