The hotel is centrally located, which is excellent for evening meals and access to the shops. Rooms are a little dated but very large. Good breakfast, especially like the porridge. It is undergoing renovation and if done well this could be a great place.

Hi. Thanks for your feedback, and just to update you that we have now opened the first of the brand new boutique rooms, and we also have car parking to the rear. The rooms you stayed in are now being refurbished as well. Look forward to seeing you again in the future. More

The Bishops Table is a small hotel in a narrow old building, poor bed, poor shower, not especial good service etc. I will be travelling to Farnham on business some times a year in the future and will definately check out another hotel next time.

Hi! Just to let you know we have opened the new boutique rooms, which are getting rave reviews. The bedrooms you stayed in are no more! It was always our plan to transform the building and with our own car parking, we are pleased we have a great offering in the centre of Farnham. We hope you will give us... More

Friendly, convenient but scabby and dated inside some of which is because it's a older building some because it needs sorting out properly to justify quite a high price for what it is. Needs a good clean up and redecoration to justify the price. They are relying on the location as it is dead centre and paid parking is close... More

The Bishops Table is a small hotel located on the main street in Farnham. A beautiful old building with much charm that has been modernised in part to make a very enjoyable place to stay. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Good value for money.

Adequate for a one night stay. Friendly welcome, lovely breakfast served by very pleasant and helpful young lady. Chap on reception even helped with our bags and showed us to our room - that doesn't happen very often nowadays. Downstairs decor fine but upstairs and rooms very tired. Room was large enough but a step back in time - not... More

The Bishops Table is conveniently located in the heart of Farnham and a few minutes walk from anywhere. The first thing that struck me was the courteous but friendly manner by which we were greeted. It was my first trip to Farnham and no enquiry was too much trouble and no question remained unanswered. The room was more than ample... More

The staff make this hotel so helpful and friendly but when I stay here I always have the weirdest dreams and sleep walk. Is a bit dated but they seem to be renovating some parts. The area is sweet and dainty everything is pretty close so it's easy to get about. I recommend staying on the top floors as it's... More

Looks great from outside, young receptionist very helpful and pleasant.Stayed in room 3. Room very spacious and reasonably clean, but like stepping back in time to the 1980s,old decor wallpaper, wardrobes etc. Kettle, tea utensils mounted on wall shelf 3 ft off the floor, nearest socket by tv but only one side working, so you have to get on your hands... The Receptionist was very pleasant and accommodating, the two rooms we stayed in were clean with everything you needed for an overnight stay! The bedrooms and en suit are in need of an update, peeling wallpaper, grouting in the bathroom etc. I was surprised that the hotel didn't have its own car park so that was slightly inconvenient having to... Our third stay in ten years and definitely our last. The room was dirty, grubby with stained carpet, peeling wallpaper, chipped and unpainted woodwork and the overall feeling of dirt. A great shame as this could be a beautiful place but is in need of a complete overhaul. The receptionist did not bother to enquire if everything was okay, I... More
