Worst hotel we have ever stayed in! Thankfully was only for one night. Doesn't even deserve a written review! Pictures speak for itself! Breakfast was an experience we wouldn't want repeating either. Place needs pulling down.

I went on 2nd April for dinner. The food, staff and atmosphere were really good, however, I've just received a parking charge notice. I tried to call the Wheatsheaf. An automated message said they have parking. Why did I receive a parking permit from Britannia Parking then? I went on a Sunday evening, parked at the back. Beware!!!

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! I am glad to hear you enjoyed the food and service. We do have free parking for our customers, you just have to register your vehicle registration into our machine at reception. There is 25 signs in the car parking demonstrating this and I am sorry that you missed them - however there is an appeal section on the letter where, with your receipt, you can appeal. We would very much appreciate it if you could take this review down as it could be misleading as you mentioned the service and food was good.

The whole place was nice but definitely has the vibe of needing a new lease of life breathed into it. Don’t let this put you off at all as the staff are wonderful, polite and definitely go above and beyond to make your stay welcoming and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the only fault with the room was an Ariel lead missing from the tv, which the lovely Alan replaced with his own for my one night stay. On having a chat with Stuart in the morning, they are going to have a major refit, which has been delayed by forces beyond their control so will be looking forward to see what they manage to accomplish the next time I stay

Loved the giant bath! Food and service was excellent (we had evening meal and breakfast). Although the room wasn’t modern it was well equipped, clean and comfortable. We took a lovely short stroll to the Virginia water cascade and ruins on checkout. All in all a lovely, good value break, made all the better by the friendly staff (special thanks to Stuart).

Went for dinner on the 13th. Received a warm welcome, great friendly service and first class pub food, The tables were well spaced apart and the atmosphere was ideal. Dom, our waiter was excellent. Will definitely return. Car parking free if enter registration number on arrival, otherwise £3 an hour because of its nearness to Windsor Great Park and the Saville Gardens.

The food at this pub is great - a varied menu and good value for money. Paige was our waitress, she was very welcoming and friendly. We sat at the front of the restaurant underneath the beams and walkway and the lighting there is quite poor; we did struggle to read our menus, so that area would benefit from having some additional lighting. Would recommend.
