Me and three friends visited 18th October for golf and lunch. All staff, as usual courteous, friendly, helpful and professional. Shared a bacon butty with the owner Rick Cressman who joined us for coffee and is always the perfect host and gentlemen. Lunch was excellent with THE tastiest chocolate brownie I've ever tasted! Hopefully go again before christmas for the...

The management are totally unhelpful. On arriving the main door was obscured by a workman on ladders, there were three people stood nearby talking, nobody greeted me, I assumed they were guests or something. I then walked all the way around the hotel trying to find the way in. I ended up at the kitchens where I asked a lady...

I stayed here for 1 night on the way to Yorkshire and again on the way back. My outward stay was lovely. I was in 'Holly' a lovely room on the front of the original part of the hotel. Very comfy bed, good facilities/bathroom etc. excellent breakfast to set me up for the day. I had the same room on...

Lovely hotel, great location and very friendly staff. I stayed for a sales meeting and the staff had everything managed to make the event run smoothly and with out any issues. The additional annex for parties and conferences meant we didn't feel we where disrupting other guest.

I recently stayed here for three nights as part of a work function. What a complete disaster. Bearing in mind the accommodation had been booked months in advance, first morning at breakfast almost half of our party did not receive breakfast, waited 25 minutes for some poached eggs and toast. Second and third morning we were in a seperate dining...

I am a regular diner in the beautiful Oak Room at Nailcote Hall. It's like stepping back in time with courteous service and really good quality food. Don't miss the Steak Diane Flambe! The staff really seem to care and the quality has been consistently good on every visit. A great place to visit for a special occasion. Highly recommended!

Went to Nailcote hall with family for afternoon tea, the food was nice and the staff was friendly, the only downside was that there was quite a lot of rubbish around on the grounds, the entrance of the hotel had lots of glasses and bottles on the floor, but when we left they had been cleared away. I would go...

I've seen this course on tv a bit and I always think about how easy it looks and how these pros make such a pigs ear of it. Until I actually played it myself! My god what a gem this place really is, easy to walk, doesn't take forever and the welcome I got from Rick the owner made the...

Got a great deal on this hotel for two nights for a trade show at the NEC. It's tucked away near Balsall Common and very rural. Odd carpark layout a little bit near the golf course, which is a bit worrying, but wasn't a problem during my stay. Lovely old building/reception with friendly helpful staff. Our room was in the...
