We took advantage of the 4 night midweek break off and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The rooms are spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fine with plenty of choice. Dinner was acceptable and overall our stay was excellent value for money. The staff were all very friendly and competent. We wanted to explore Stratford-upon-Avon... More

Stayed in a Bungalow type room just across from reception. All ok - until we went to put the one towel supplied for 2 people and found that it seemed to have been used to clean the floor. A phone call and more towels arrived. One thing of importance is not to run out of toilet paper -we did. That... More

Having visited the National Trust's Charlecote Park, my wife and I thought we'd treat ourselves to a lovely lunch at the nearby Charlecote Pheasant Hotel. We arrived in the dimly lit restaurant to find only one other couple. It was like interrupting private grief. Perhaps we should have left at that point, but rightly or wrongly, we went ahead my... It's a quiet countryside hotel. Everything was all right. Our room was spacious with a sitting area. The windows were facing the road and the opposite side is Charlecote Park. We could see deer wondering around in the park which was really a surprise.

Greeted by a very friendly receptionist. We had a nice spacious room overlooking the gardens (room number 56). Very peaceful. The hotel was very busy so coming down to breakfast we found there was a long queue for the self service and most of the food had gone. However, this was soon rectified.
