Check in: On arrival, after emailing and confirming an early check in, the manager of the hotel took great pleasure (sat back in his chair, arms crossed, all smug) in telling us we couldn't check in for another 3 hours. Once we explained that he should take a look on the notes of our booking as we had arranged an...

Stopped for one night whilst visiting family, friendly welcome on arrival took 2 pre booked rooms both good value, warm, clean and fairly good décor. The hotel allows dogs which was a must for us on this visit. Dined in the restaurant in the evening and the service, menu and meals were very good. Will stop here again when visiting...

The wine list was one of the best I've ever experienced within the area and I was highly impressed with my Malborough. Good work the millers. Oh and the staff were amazing....

Staff all very helpful and friendly. We stayed in s room in old part of the building which was comfortable enough though a little small. It had very creaky floors...
