We had a fabulous stay over the weekend for the Grand Prix. Stayed for 3 nights. Excellent cooked breakfast and dinner was very good value! We had 2 steaks and a bottle of wine deal for £30, really great deal considering most hotels and restaurants charge around £20 - £25 just for 1 steak!! And the steak was cooked to...

The restaurant was empty at 8.00 when we went for dinner. The menu was not particularly attractive and we plumped for simple fare hoping it would be good. Scampi and chips isn't much of a challenge and it turned out to be reasonable. But nothing special. I'm not sure we would good back as there was little to attract us...

beware if wishing to use your tastecard in the restaurant, it is in very small print on the menu that you cant have any sort of steak or any of the specials so you can only have the cheap stuff ie pie, scampi etc. The place was empty on a thursday night so there was no atmosphere. The only good...

Not a good experience, owner is miserable and not helpful, don't expect wifi in your room. If you need it you will have to sit in the corner of the dinning room to access it. Bar staff who where on that evening very pleasant though. Would I stay here again. Sorry no. Room full of dust and equipment such as...

We recently held our reception at Hillmorton Manor, which was a truly fantastic experience from initially booking right through to the big day. Eva was very, very generous and helpful with planning and advising. The wedding breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the evening buffet was fantastic. Our room and our guests rooms were all very clean and nice, some had...

We stayed one night for a birthday party locally and were really impressed with the value for money. Clean quiet room, excellent breakfast and lovely staff. Excellent value for money if this is where you need to be.

Visited the Hillmorton Manor for sunday lunch. They serve a lovely carvery. The meats were all lovely (beef, gammon, pork & turkey). Between our party of 4 we tried them all. Great roasts and a good selection of vegetables including roasted root veg. Pigs in blankets and good Yorkshire puds. Highly recommend the carvery but a slight lack of atmosphere and...

Should you find yourself stranded in Rugby and the only available accommodation is the Hillmorton Manor, I suggest you commit a minor misdemeanour and then surrender yourself to the police in the hope of a night in the slammer - you'll find the staff attitude, accommodation and food more to your liking. We checked in with some concern as we...
