This place can be lovely, depending what mood the staff are in. The food can be amazing but you have to pay for it. Beautiful garden to sit in, dog friendly, I recommend this place, but it is fairly expensive.

A charming traditional old English pub with log fires, delightful staff, good beers and exceptional food. Near Petworth House, opposite the pretty church, a bit off the beaten track and well worth the visit. Definitely one for return visits.

Having eaten here several times, we found today the food not great and not value for money, the service was obviously without any training. The wine was expensive but the house wine was ok.. We shall not rush back sadly.

Sorry it was ages ago but I`m sure it is. However the menu is not pub grub, more bistro.
