My husband and I got married here with 40 guests. Lucas and his staff made everyone feel so welcome and comfortable despite the rustic conditions and the few prissy girls that came along. The wedding was beautiful and more than we could have asked for on our meager budget. Lucas also arranged many activities for our guest, such as snorkeling,...

We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Lagunita and it was PERFECT. Everything about it was so romantic... Our room was great--clean, rustic, and spacious with a breathtaking view. Luke and Dana worked so hard to make our little wedding so perfect! Everyone that sees my wedding pictures says that it looks like the perfect place to tie the knot. The...

We booked our wedding there after a google search. Turns out many of our friends and family had stayed there before! Yelapa was wonderful! The Hotel was lovely! Staff amazing! The food was fabulous! We had the time of our lives! Wish we could do it all over again! Our guests said it was one of the best weddings they'd...

Hotel Lagunita de Yelapa is really a special place. Located directly on the beach you can hear the surf all day and night. I slept like a baby and the beds are super comfy too. Great sheets and the staff made up the room everyday. The staff here is so helpful and all speak English. Food was also very good....

I started going to Yelapa in the mid 90's. (Have traveled Mexico since the late 70's.) Reviewers who were disappointed Hotel Lagunita made some good points about the web site being much more sophisticated than the property. It is very primitive! !! I have had some very challenging experiences in Yelapa -- the river, the horses, etc.; yet it has...

I loved Hotel Lagunita - I actually joined Trip Advisor just to make a post. My boyfriend and I went there during the off season and had a great time. We were looking for a relaxing, private, and low-tourist place to go in Puerto Vallarta. Yelapa is it. It's close to PV, but only accessible by boat, which cuts down...

Loved being right on the beach - sound of the waves crashing. Staff was helpful and nice. Food in the restaurant was mediocre. The place was pretty run down. We had a good stay there, but I felt like the price should have been about half of what it was for what you are getting.

I was not prepared for this... but after Hotel Lagunita, I can take anything. I will remember this hotel for the rest of my life but not in a good way, the food was ok but everything tasted the same, only two waiters deserve tipping because the waitresses were not very happy every time I wanted to ask for anything,...
