We had a really enjoyable stay at The George The owners were so friendly and could not have been more helpful. The hotel is charming and has been restored faithfully in keeping with the period. The rooms are varied in size. Ours was very comfortable with a small but adequate bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. I would ask for a...

This beautiful Victorian house has been authentically restored, & provides a high level of comfort for a stay in the Blue Mountains. There's been a great attention to detail by the charming hosts Geoff & Vicki, with the decor perfect for the period. Our room was warm & comfortable, & well-appointed. There's a guest lounge/library with open fire & complimentary...

We booked an ensuite room with spa. The room was enormous and I suspect I would have had trouble seeing the TV from the bed had I tried to do so. This is a step back in time. Not only is the decor old fashioned, so is the service. Polite and attentive without being intrusive. It was lovely to sit...

My husband and I spent our anniversary here over the Easter long weekend. A beautiful old heritage building, with lovely little touches, lots of places to sit and relax inside and out. The breakfast was excellent with a European edge - warm boiled eggs, fresh meats, bread pulled fresh from the oven, plunger coffee, tea, fresh juice, fruit and more....

The George is one of those great places that are a pleasure to experience and we think we are very lucky that there are people like the owners who are prepared to run and maintain a place like this. On a road trip down the coast of Australia, it is fairly easy to find a Hotel, Motel, holiday Inn. But...

The most comfortable bed i slept in on our holiday, very well appointed and spacious room and our bathroom had a huge spa. The historical building has been tastefully decorated by the new owners who's decorative skills are only surpassed by their warm welcome and attention to detail. If you visit I can highly recommend the restaurant (Blue Jax) I...

What a great find. Really quirky hotel, so full of character, with pretty gardens. We had a lovely welcome and lots of helpful advice on viewing spots for the Blue Mountains. Would definitely recommend this place.

Thank you. There are so many fabulous lookouts in the Blackheath area it is hard to know which ones are best. Among our favourites though would be Anvil Rock and Mt York. We look forward to seeing you again.
