The staff at the kiosk are great very knowledgable about the area and what's going on and can point you in the direction you want either quiet and secluded or right where the action is! Recommend this area to people who love camping.

Great spot to camp right on the shore of Copeton dam ,need to be self sufficient or else you can stay in the council park that has power,toilets,showers and a little shop,Mark the caretaker is very helpful. Good fishing, great sunsets
