OK it may not be for everyone but the kids and I loved it. The rooms were clean and cozy and the period features of the rumbling house were enchanting. Lovely to see one of these historic treasures still affordable somewhere in tne Blue Mountains. Special hello to Winter the cat. Breakfast could be improved

rooms and facilities are CLEAN Staff and management are friendly Foods was very good with pre-warmed breakfast plates Breakfast was complementary and anytime. Reading and tea areas , inside and outside, were very comfortable ,peaceful and pleasant . Needs some money spent on repairs (some windows cracked, blinds need fixing in dinning room ,some general maintenance...though none of these affected...

We opted for private bathroom for a room to accomdate three people. We were offered a choice of two rooms and opted for the larger one which had a capacity of sleeping five. The Guesthouse is a magnificant old building. Rather tired in some places. For example the carpet in our room needs replacing as it is old, torn and stained....

Stayed only one night when traveling back to Sydney. Rooms are huge, Old world charm throughout. History of the guest house is very interesting. Roman and Katie are fabulous hosts, with Roman being the chef as well. Food would rival the best restaurants. Highly recommend the Bavarian Pancakes for dessert... they are awesome! Thank you for another wonderful stay... will...

My partner and I stayed for 5 nights, we have never felt so at home in a hotel. Beautiful home cooked food, I'd highly recommend trying the soup of the day, it was brilliant every day. We had a huge room with an ensuite which was perfect. The owner & staff also recommended places to go & things to including...

I love the way the hotel operates, encouraging a sense of community within its historic walks. Perfect spot to stop over with a family, hot hearty complementary breakfasts. Guests are encouraged to play the collection of guitars and just enjoy the venue which comes complete with friendly cats and a great verandah to relax on after a days adventure.

We came here just for two nights. The hotel room is really nice and big and the staff is very friendly. They have that kinda special ability to make you feel welcome straight away. The food was by far the best food I've eaten in Australia for a reasonable price. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

I love this place! You can walk around through the long corridors with high ceilings and so many rooms filled with lovely old style furniture just imagining what happened here 100 years ago. So many places to hang out with friends, family or alone, outside on the large veranda or in the gardens or on one of the many cosy...

We arrived as Sydney and the Blue Mountains were hit by a huge low that brought heavy rain for our time in the Mountains. The weather outside made no difference as Roman, Katie and their son William welcomed us to a warm, dry spacious guesthouse. There are guitars scattered around so at any time soft melodies may float through the...
