What a great little town Oberon is. The motel was terrific, clean and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Autumn is a nice time to visit with all the leaves changing and it's just down the road from Jenolan Caves. We would definitely stay again.

Overpriced for what you get. Heater didn't come on until late. Girl in restaurant advised no room service but offered plastic forks to eat with out of take away containers - eventually after asking that she double check she came back to advise we could get room service as she didn't know what it was. No microwave in room to...

Went for an overnight stay. Nice and tidy however pretty expensive for what we got. Location fair bit out of town, so not suitable for walking from licenced premises. Car club there on the night who were nice.

After a considerable drive, we appreciated the tea & coffee, with biscuits, upon our arrival. The bathroom was one of the cleanest I've seen in my travels in Oz and overseas. Although the decor was dated, we had plenty of room with both a queen sized and single bed in the room. Good to see reception staff using our name...

Oberon is a small town, so accommodation for weddings etc fills up quickly. When booking the hotel, there was no confirmation or email to say the room had been secured. I found this a little odd. The rooms are as pictured. Definitely in need of an upgrade though. The main issues for me, however, were: * A reasonable sized stain...

This motel room had one of the cleanest bathrooms I have seen in all my travels and the room itself was very clean. Although not the most modern of decors, the room had everything you needed for a night's stay in Oberon.

This is a comfortable motel with good service and plenty of space / parking. Located on the edge of town. Whilst all facilities are in a sound (and functional) condition, the motel would benefit from a reno and the addition of air conditioning. Chinese restaurant attached but didn't try it out. Recommended, had potential to be better.

The 1990's called and want their decor back. Hotel was good. Check in and booking were efficient. Room was very clean. Everything we needed for an overnight stay with the kids. Conveniently located to the RSL club which was really accommodating with the kids

The Chinese restaurant food has got progressively worse over the last 9 years with changes in 'chefs' and restaurant owners . The Peking duck is disastrous ,don't try it its an oily tasteless grease ball The special fried rice is tasteless, dry and has very few ingredients apart from rice!Yuk! The "king" prawn toast entree is expensive at $18 and was...

“As you enter the motel the rooms on the left get the morning sun. It will be a lot brighter in rooms on this side. All rooms are quiet.”

“No suggestions other than to ring ask if 1. the restaurant is open and 2. if a bus load is expected. If answer is NO and / or YES respectively them take your money elsewhere! We are being sold rubbish in this country and apparently no checks and balances. Often not told unless one asks!”
