We stayed at the hideaway 2 weekends ago for my girlfriends birthday. When we arrive it was on a friday night and it was pouring, so it was great to get inside. This place is very cosy and what you would expect for up the blue mountains. The interior has great character and gives the place a bit of life....

Stayed Sunday & Monday nights early March. Clean and comfortable room, the decor a little out dated but there is a nice feel to this place which far out weighs this superficial detail. The personality of the young couple that own this business is reflected in the ambience of this retreat. We found it to be very relaxing and peaceful....

Stayed for two very enjoyable nights in February. The staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless, loved the heated towel rack. The location is quite beautiful, so quiet and peaceful. Didn't use the pool but it looked inviting. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and...

My Husband and I stayed here in November 2011. It was our 30th wedding aniversary and our children booked a secret deal through last minute.com as a surprise. Breakfast was nice although were not asked what we would like, everybody got the same plate of food, which I find strange. My big complaint was there was no air conditioning and...

About a kilometre from the centre of Wentworth Falls, lovely views and oh so peaceful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. OK Breakfast. Was a bit put off by the stains in the carpet when we first arrived, but the lovely ambiance of the place soon made us forget about that. Nice comfortable rooms. After a couple of exacting day...

Stayed 2 nights @ the end of January, room, with ensuite more than adequate. Service was fabulous, nothing too much bother, very laid-back, but efficient. B'fasts, both hot & continental, a good start to the day, pity there's no dinner menu. The decor is quirky & great, Gandhi, Freud, Mozart, The Thinker, ballistrades & shelf brackets with a message. Large,...

Great location, close to shops (definitely check out the blue mist cafe) and trails. Amazing view of the mountains. Would definitely recommend the hideaway retreat to anyone looking to stay...

Just got back from the Hideaway Retreat, after spending 2 nights with my wife and two daughters. It was perfect for a quick getaway.. Ronnie and Damien are faultless as hosts, ensuring you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. My girls loved being able to walk straight out to the garden; the pool and a...
