We returned to Killynaught as we had so enjoyed our time there a few years ago. However, we were very disappointed this time. The cottage was not very clean, lights did not work and I found I was cleaning cutlery and crockery before using it. Although someone had been in the night before us, the cottage had a musty, dusty...

What is it with Tasmanian businesses building accommodation on highways and busy roads? Just leaving Stanley and one of the noisiest b@b's i have ever stayed at to Killynaught! POSITIVES Quaint little cottages all look like they have always been there! Old and full of character Bed was cosy and comfortable Breakfast was great NEGATIVES It is on a highway!...

This place is a hidden treasure..my late mum put me onto them several years ago,as it was a great break away for the weekend. My husband and I enjoyed the drive to them and the country hospitality in this neck of the woods was outstanding. Not only do you take a journey back in yesteryear, the food is fresh from the paddocks around...

Thank you so much for your lovely review. It's nice to be appreciated, and I particularly like that you enjoyed the little things that we know are special about not only our place (like our open fireplaces and yummy fresh breakfast produce), but also the whole area. This part of the North West Coast still flies under the radar a...

Very expensive, barely clean, noisy cottage with so much clutter and rubbish. We found it to be very depressing and dingy. Washing machine is dirty and even so broken the whole front was cracked and missing! Not only was this disgusting, it is very dangerous! Kitchen sink had not been cleaned properly in a real long time...dirty and slimy. Unhygenic...

We stayed one night as we were exhausted from travelling and didn't really know what was ahead. It was sufficient for the night, but it could not be classed as exceptionally clean or exceptionally great. Nothing really in walking distance, no shops, no local sightseeing. Just a place to stay which needs a bit of work to get it out...

I have some mixed feelings for this accommodation. On one hand, as such accommodations go it is spacious and generous: our cottage had a spa (fitted with a bit of an awkward shower and shower curtain), two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. These were better equipped than most of the rest of Tasmania's similarly priced accommodations: the fridge...

Hi - glad to hear the things you liked about our property, sad to hear the things that were wrong and I can only say that we will endeavour to make them right. As far as the old style accommodation, we purchased the property two years ago and short of the expense of gutting the cottages and starting again in...

Stayed 1 night in a old style cottage: cottage situated near the highway. you hear the sound of the highway barely. ( truck at night and morning) cottage was decorated with antique furniture and was fully equipped: fireplace, dining area, lounge, bedroom and spa bath. Products for the bathroom were in large plastic bottles Our bungalow was not completely clean:...

Thanks for your review - I am very disappointed to hear about the kitchen not being clean and will be taking that up with the staff. If I am able to speak to guests before they check in, I let them know that their key is in the door of their cottage (I do this when I place the breakfast...

We stayed one night and even though the cottages are on the main road, road noise is very minimal. Log fire adds a homely warm ambience. The restaurant offers superb food and friendly service. Would stay here in the future and recommend to others.

My girlfriend and I had a few days off work which coincided with valentines day so we decided to go to the NW coast and stay at Killynaught cottages - which were a nice little surprise. The cottages are very unique. Old style cottages with a comfortable 4 poster bed, spa in the bathroom and decent size lounge room and...
