We stayed here just the one night back in April , and was very pleased to be given a free 'upgrade' to a sea view room. The view is beautiful, such a nice touch to a night away. The rooms are clean and comfortable, just a standard size normal room ,nothing bad but nothing special. The only little thing that... More

Clean, roomy with great pillows, parking and water pressure. This is a wysiwyg motel, a little noisy mid evening but quiet after 11ish. Good restaurant and convenient location, although no views so the name is a bit of a misnomer. Staff were helpful and friendly.

I stopped over for one night on a road trip around Tasmania. This place is a very nice motel. The Room was ample, clean and in good condition. Pleasant friendly staff at reception. Free WiFi internet access. I'm not sure I'd use this as a base if I was in Burnie for several days of holiday, although it has a... More

We booked for 2 nights, on arrival we were upgraded to an ocean view on the lower floor with updated bathroom, we very much appreciated this & we found our room, bed, bathroom quite roomy & modern. The free parking & complimentary newspaper were also convenient. The receptionists/ cleaners were all friendly & said HELLO every time we walked by,... More

I stayed 1 night in a sea view executive apartment. It was quite small, however was very clean and modern. The view of the ocean was great too. Car parking was plentiful,.Reception weren't overly friendly at arrival or departure, but overall would stay again.

The rooms were comfortable, but quite noisy early morning from service vehicles. Also had a smoking area close by that we could smell. The internal stairwell needed cleaning , which wasn't done in the two days we were there. The bathroom vanity had a sharp damaged corner which was quite nasty to the elbow as the toilet area was very... More

We arrived late in the afternoon to be greeted very impersonally. I don't have a credit card so was frowned upon by the receptionist, only to be told a debit card was not able to be used. I then convinced her that it would do the same as a credit card, she then took the details. Our room had already... More

I stayed here for one night on business trip to Burnie. I stayed in a waterfront apartment. It had a nice view over the beach and water and was nice to finish the long trip with a drink on the balcony. The room and bed were comfortable. I ended up ordering in room service as restaurant was packed I assume... More

Travelling through Tasmania and staying at motels / hotels during our visit, we've become used to differences in standard across the spectrum. A too short stay at Beachfront Voyager Motor Inn was at the upper end of our experiences. Check in was simple and efficient, if a little too impersonal. Our room on the upper floor of this motel was... More

A more than adequate motel. Nothing out of the box so if u are used to 5* City hotels you won't find one in Burnie. Our room was very big with a separate bed while others in our touring group had a lounge or 2 queen beds. The bathroom was newly refurbished and lovely. There is a restaurant which offers... More
