Spent 1night here as part of coach tour, and wish it could have been for longer. Rooms are large with a bathroom with spa bath, king size beds and then a lower lounge area to the room with desk, sofa and 2nd TV, plus a little balcony that looks out into the bush land. There are also additional lounges at...

We really enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel which is just outside the park entrance but very close to the Visitor Centre and shuttle bus service. Reception staff were efficient, if a little disinterested, and the large roaring log fires were very welcoming. We had a large split level spa room which was very clean and comfortable. There...

We just spent a night at Peppers Cradle Mountain. We booked for two but checked out after one. The property is outdated, rooms don't have TV and there is no WIFI. For us Peppers Cradle Mountain was a 👎. We stayed at the sister property of Cradle Mountain Hotel while in Freycinet National Park (freycinet lodge) and it was great....

This was a perfect base for travels to Cradle Mountain, Dove Lake and surrounding walks in the national park. The hotel bedrooms are well appointed, décor is a little dated, but clean and beds very comfortable. Our little boy thoroughly enjoyed having an in room spa bath! We dined at the restaurant one evening and it was divine. Staff are...

We stay for one night there and arrive to checkin and as we usually do, ask for some advice on what to do and see in Cradle Mountain, the young lady at the reception was not very friendly (maybe she was having a bad day). The room was comfy, cosy and warm. They have a jacuzzi and hammam and we...

This hotel has it all - stunning location, friendly professional staff, big rooms and great food and beverage options. Back to the rooms for a bit, big as I said, very comfortable soft beds plenty of pillows, what's not to like there.

Positives Staff are friendly on arrival, and helpful as required eg booking cradle mountain day passes. Location is fantastic for commencing walks to cradle mountain (only 2 minute drive from visitor centre). Facilities are strong with guest lounges, spa room etc. Negatives We were aware of the duopoly situation held by cradle mountain hotel and peppers. This means there's nowhere...

So we checked in and the staff were really friendly. That's pretty much where the experience ended. After a long day travelling and walking around cradle mountain, we returned to the hotel. The main entertaining area was filthy from with lunch dishes and glasses everywhere. We could not find anyone to tidy up, so I did it myself. We then...

Located close to everything you'd want to see in the Cradle Mountain National Park, Cradle Mountain Hotel is not as highly rated as the nearby Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge. In my opinion, Cradle Mountain hotel is close if not on par with Peppers. A solid 4-5 star hotel, the rooms are comfortable and well appointed but slightly dated. The hotel...

Excellent location just outside the National Park, about a 5 minute drive from the Visitor Centre and in a forested area so very pretty. Arrived about noon but room was ready which was good. Check in was friendly and efficient. Large car park so parking was easy - we parked almost outside our room. Access to the room was easy...
