We enjoyed a lovely lunch here. Relaxed and casual. The food was plentiful and tasty. Good service and friendly staff. An easy drive from Huonville. The town is interesting to wander around. The staff were very friendly. Should we be in this part of the world again, would definitely return.

Friendly Staff, ideal to call in after a days touring in the southern areas. An ideal base to travel around the south east areas of Tassie. Visit the local markets and grab a bargain. Travel down to the Huon and make sure you visit Cockle Creek.

We stayed in the heritage part of the hotel in a lovely room, the decor was old world charm, very pretty. We were offered our own bathroom for a bit extra which we happily took. As in all old pubs the bathroom is down the hallway from the rooms. A sitting room with tea and coffee provisions is provided and...

We had no idea where to go for lunch in cygnet after walking into a cafe that was obviously popular with the locals and busy, we saw the sign cafe on the side of the pub down the road. Walked into a lovely heritage atmosphere and was greeted by a lovely Canadian local ( that's what she told us after...

We booked a stay for one night but are staying two a very friendly place with great old wold charm. The rooms are basic but very clean so are the separate showers and toilets. We had a meal which was very nice, around the $20 mark and a few drinks the pub is like stepping back in time as it...

I'm conflicted a little because I generally stay in 5 star hotels and get used to the amenities they offer. I stayed at the Cygnet without my family for a month after relocating from Sydney, and if comparing to a hotel I would have a lot to say because this is a pub really. However, it is not possible to...

Wow what a fun the days I had at the Cygnet Folk festival. I stayed at the historic Cygnet hotel. Just by chance I was successful with accommodation despite being told that all was taken and I would have to camp. Uncanny 2 minutes prior to my cell to staff they're was a cancellation. Everyone in the hotel was so...

Stayed as a family of three for 4 nights, Helen was very accommodating and supplied us with a key to our own bathroom, which was handy with a teenager ! Basic rooms, comfortable beds. The bar was very friendly and meals in the dining room were excellent with a wide choice on the menu. Room just needed a wardrobe as...

Stayed for 2 nights in a room with shared bathroom. We stayed only a fortnight after it was taken over by the new owner Scott and although they were making a few changes it was a very pleasant stay. Scott has lived in the area all of his life and was a great character with some wonderful and colorful stories....
