We had a warm welcome & goody pack. The Studio was just right for us, well laid out & equipped and we had a really comfy stay. We had high expectations and these were exceeded. Louise was a most helpful host. We regret only being able to stay 2 nights, next time it will be for much longer.

Really enjoyed the stay here. The apartment was clean and warm, with good quality ... everything. The reception was not 100% warm and friendly, however it was very informative. We would definitely stay here again. The inclusions were nice, I managed to secure the whole of the free port for myself which was a bonus. The plunger coffee was also...

Stayed in a studio accommodation. Our studio had twin beds as well as Small sitting area with dining table and kitchen. Little extras appreciated - ground coffee, port and chocolates and variety of reading matter in room. Lovely lady at reception who then showed us to room. Lovely overnight stay. Walked to Derwent Bridge Hotel for meal.

This is a return trip for us and our chalet was cosy and spotless. Perfect accommodation to rest after long, scenic walks at Lake St.Clair. Little extras such as fresh ground coffee soon had us warm. Louise made us so welcome. We will be back.

My husband and I have stayed a few times at the Chalets,we have always found the chalets clean and comfortable. John and Louise bend over backwards to make sure stay is memorable, We have stayed all over the world in many countries and John and Louise rate in our top 3 hosts. The last review forgot to mention that Louise...

Although our chalet was spotlessly clean, we have never before experienced such uncalled for, inconceivable rudeness by management anywhere in the world where we have booked overnight accommodation.Since our stay, we have viewed a number of responses highlighting paying guests experiencing similar situations and only wish we had looked at Tripadvisor before booking this place. The recurrent themes, relating to...

We regret that the guests stay was not up to expectations. Unfortunately, our situation was most certainly not as we expected it to be at that time. The sudden passing of the co-owner of the business (my husband) the week prior made this a very difficult situation but it was decided to honour the bookings that had already been taken....

The most unpleasant experience we have ever had. This place is deserving of its 3.5 stars however the owner Louise brings it crashing to a 1 star, if that. I can not fathom how an owner of a business can be so rude and condescending. From the get go we felt unwelcomed and felt like we were walking on egg...

Greetings from a very snowy Central Highlands. The blog states these guests stayed in August 2015, travelled with family and was posted 4 August 2015. We wrote to TripAdvisor stating that both Louise and John were away from their business attending a funeral in Adelaide 30 July - 3 August arriving back late pm, meaning we had no contact with...

We spent a lovely night here. The accommodation was comfortable and clean and well appointed. John was more than helpful and could not be more friendly. Our fire was lit and going when we arrived which was great because it snowed that night. Very comfortable bed and good little kitchen. We were offered chocolates and port on arrival. All in...

We spent 5 nights at Derwent Bridge Chalets. The Chalets was lovely and warm on our arrival, with welcoming Chocolates and Port and a newspaper in the mornings. Very clean and comfortable. Great Facilities. Very Peaceful Location. Would certainly stay there again.
