Dannebrog Lodge is always welcoming after a days travel and work. It is close to town, where you get your choice of dinners within walking distance. Good facilities that seem to be continuously upgraded to improve your stay, with the best breakfasts that tend to make me over indulge.

I have stayed at the Dannebrog on a previous work visit. It's great, nothing has changed. Warm friendly hosts who will go out of their way to ensure your stay is comfortable, they are easy going and provide a great breakfast. Why would you want to stay in a boring Motel when you can stay in this warm, cosy guesthouse.... More

Nice little B&B - was perfect for what I needed. Owners are very friendly and look after you well. Place was busy but quiet and the bed was comfortable. Its across from the water and a short walk to the CBD.

Fantastic hospitality for bed at short notice. Beautiful views of the waterfront and lovely breakfast the next morning. Took a walk down to Dannys bar and grill. Meal was superb. Can definitely recommend the pork ribs. Gorgeous place to stay with friendly hosts.

Second time staying at the Dannebrog Lodge. Both times in one of the upstairs room. No noise was heard to disturb sleep and a very comfortable bed. Work desk and free wireless for the business traveller. Hot breakfast included in price. Excellent value for money. The lodge is across the road from the river and two blocks to the CBD.

From the booking process (we stayed two weeks) to the friendly assistance daily, the huge breakfast, the care and attention; the owners made our business stay a pleasure. Work was easy to accomplish and relaxation by the river phenomenal. And as a bonus their restaurant down the road is a must return venue.

A very comfortable and quiet place to stay with a great breakfast. I was able to book the room via email and receive prompt confirmation as I was arriving into Devonport for a work trip. The access after hours is easy to arrange and parking at rear. Nice view of the river and shipping from the breakfast table.

I base myself in Devonport for work once a year and always stay here. Good accommodation, close to shops & terrific location for walking. And it's great to have a home cooked brekkie in the morning! Thanks for providing a great place to stay Jan.
