Stopped here for breakfast at the bistro. A bit pricy at $27 but it had a wide choice of accompaniments ranging from beans and mushrooms to cereal and various fruits. Great breads for toast with local jam and eggs made to order.....all the coffee you want I any mode is available and nice juices. Friendly and attentive service. The lodge...

The room was wonderful. It had a heated towel rack in the bathroom. Nice big porch too. We had mussels the night we arrived and they were very good. In the morning for breakfast, there was a tour group here. It took us 45 minutes to get eggs and coffee. You have to order your eggs and coffee, they are...

We had dinner at 'The Bay' restaurant and it was excellent. Our waitress Charlotte was wonderful and informative. We found all the staff helpful and attentive. The food was beyond our expectations and we will definitely go back. Put this together with a stunning location and it was a perfect way to spend a birthday and holiday celebration! Thank you.

Stayed two nights PROS:- Excellent views of the water from the resort Easy access to Wine Glass Bay Great access to a little beach called honeymoon bay which was really nice CONS:- Breakfast a free-for-all with no real organization and not. Much variety Had two dinners - first in bistro. Ordered a burger with no lettuce and got a bread...

Watch out at the bar. They will serve you the wrong drink and then charge you for it even when you tell them it is not what You ordered. Watch the bar staff and pull them up in time! Nice little looking place

Thanks for your review and I have investigated the situation, the bar staff have offered their apologies as when you ordered a gin and they asked if you would like a local gin, there was a miscommunication and they thought you said yes. Im glad they rectified the issue very quickly though and gave you the Hendricks gin you wanted....

The rooms are fantastic. We had a one bedroom cabin and with trees all around, we felt like we were the only people at the lodge. (Unfortunately we could not see the water, but we understand that trees are more important than views.) Breakfast was yummy and the staff were very helpful. The history of the lodge was shared with...

We booked a room here months ago for 3 nights after Easter. The location is unique and excellent for exploring the Freycinet Peninsula - nothing else comparable as apart from tent sites, all other accommodation is outside the NP. I would caution against booking early as a much better deal was available the night before we arrived (alas, when the...

We stayed in a spa cabin at Freycinet Lodge, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to stay! The cabins were clean, spacious and the spa bath was amazing!! In a beautiful location, being in the national park. Stunning sunset views from the balcony outside of the restaurant. We went to the restaurant for dinner and decided...

We called in to the Lodge prior to our hike to wineglass bay. Breakfast was underway and despite not being 'staying guests' of the Lodge, we were made to feel welcome and the staff were happy to serve us 'just coffee' out on the balcony. Great view, cappuccino was superb.

My wife and I just stayed two nights and wish we stayed longer. It's not the Ritz but accomodation and facilities were very decent, food was tasty and most staff were friendly and attentive. The big draw card is its location, on beautiful Richardsons Beach within the amazing Freycinet National Park. All in all we give Freycinet Lodge a big...
