We wanted to test the new camper but did not want to travel too far. We decided on Huonville, only 35 minutes from home but we could have been miles away. The park is beside a river, the grounds are beautifully kept and the surrounding farm helps with the feeling of serenity. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had...

Previously mention owner of park Rohan and not what i stated which was Warren. Sorry Rohan. The sun is out today and clouds have lifted off the mountains. Not as spectacular looking as when the clouds encircle the mountains and make them dissappear but just the same pretty. Off to find that elusuve Platypus.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Had a site backing onto the creek running through park, great for families. Weber barbies set along the creek which is a great idea. The ammenities building situated in the centre of the park is without a doubt the best we have seen out of all the parks that we have visited. Very pleasurable stay...

Huge sites, great showers and toilets, spacious well appointed communal camp kitchen with lots of power points and bbqs not only in kitchen but through the park. First grassed sites we've struck on this trip, well maintained. Location at the junction of the Mountain and Huon river delightful- making for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing place. The addition of the...

My initial response was to think that it was over priced. Sure, it's not cheap but it's very well done. The amenities, built from very basic materials, are brilliant. One container converted into 8 very good shower cubicles, the other into a row of toilets, a truss roof joining the two and a well equipped camp kitchen. It's been done...

What a fantastic caravan park. We stayed here because there were no vacancies in Hobart. What a stroke of luck. Rowan & Leanne are fantastic hosts. We extended our stay because we were so happy here we thought it better to travel that little bit extra to get to our sight seeing spots and come back to a very relaxing...

Toilets, showers etc were the newest and cleanest we had in our 3 weeks in tassie. Owners are so friendly and welcoming, best reception we had too was...

We stayed for 3 nights, with our extended family. We were allocated a huge plot in the corner of the camping area. All of the sites, both powered and unpowered are larger than average, and no-one seemed to be crowded. I measured the unpowered sites to be 10m x 15m. Huge amenities block with 10 showers and 10 toilets, which...

We had such a great time at Huonville Valley CP. The sites are large, grassy and the facilities are one of the best we have experienced camping. Kids loved the farm show every afternoon and looking for platypus in the river. Definitely a must on a Tassie visit. Due to the location we were able to access Hobart and surrounds...
