Very nice authentic spot, including streaming creek, where you can stay 1 or more days. The hostess is very friendly and cooperative and will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Also almost every campground has a fire pit where one can make an camp fire (firewood is provided). We loved to stay one day. Powered site...

What a beautiful place to stay. Right on a creek with crispy crystal clear water.. kids had a ball paddling in there. Saw the resident platypus one evening. We stayed here a week with our tents, was freezing when we got here (think thermals, beanies) and rather windy... had an amazing view of the ranges (we think it was Mt...

This caravan park is a lovely place with a friendly caretaker. It is an excellent spot to explore the surroundings which are superb. Hikes, caves and more. When you get back, relax at the creek and enjoy.

Pretty little park with a creek flowing through it. All grassy sites are perfect for camping and vans. Simple little camp kitchen with a sink, hot water, kettle, toaster, microwave, hot plates and BBQ. Showers are clean and cost $0.60 per shower with 20 cent coins available at the office. Just a short drive to the local caves.

One of the nicest caravan parks in Tasmania. Situated on the road outside of Mole Creek, it has nice level sites some with power, a camp kitchen, and plenty of open fireplaces (wood provided). There is a creek along the edge of the park with sightings of local platypus. The amenities are old but clean, and one cabin is available....

Another gem of beautiful Tasmania we found...thanks to trip advisor reviews. We read that Jill the owner was such a delight...and she really was. Upon check in, she informed us we could park our campervan where ever we liked and even gave us a longer power cord to enable us to access power from our unpowered site right next to...

So glad that you found your stay relaxing. Yes, a campfire beside the rippling Sassafras Creek is a delight to experience even without the marshmallows! A number of people tell us that they find the campsite by reading Trip Advisor, so thanks for taking the time to write this review.

Fabulous hot showers, fire pots ( wood supplied ) chooks, platypus and the best spots ever along side the gentle creek all add to the overall wonderful experience .. We will definitely be back.....

Stayed at an unpowered site for one night. The owner was welcoming and pointed us to a sheltered site for our tent. The site itself was set in lovely countryside surrounded by mountains and dairy farms. There is a small creek at the edge of the site. Facilities were decent- free and fast Wi-Fi, a cooking area with kettle/toaster/hobs. Toilets...

Nice little caravan park and certainly worth a stay rather than 'push through', especially if you have looked at the caves late in the afternoon. Clean and tidy, backing onto a river and field. Not huge, but we were there in November and got a space ok.

Reasonable in price. Nice grass for our tent. The owner Jill is so lovely and made us feel very welcome. Everything is clean and tidy. Bathrooms were good and a 60c for a hot shower, who can complain about that. I definitely recommend. Very close to cradle mountain and the caves
