This place was our favourite out of the places we stayed on our 2 week trip around Tassie. So beautiful and charming. My teenage son and daughter loved it too - especially Belinda's daily bread and other baked goodies. We will definitely be back.

Many thoughtful touches in the cottage and friendly hosts made this getaway perfect. The setting is peaceful and private. it is close to many of Tasmania's amazing attractions and an easy drive to the major towns.

We stayed in Heritage cottage - it was just stunning and made the rest of our trip look ordinary. Belinda and Ian were fabulous hosts. The kids were able to help feed Flossy the lamb, the (al)paca clan, and collect the chickens eggs. We all wish we were still there.

We just returned from a Tassie trip, the highlight of which was our stay at Blackwood Park Cottages. From the moment we arrived Belinda couldn't do enough for us. She took the kids off to show them the animals, they helped feed the alpacas, collected eggs and the highlight, fed Flossie the lamb. The freshly baked bread and muffins were...

Stayed before and as always the welcome and facilities were superb in a peaceful and relaxing setting Lovely Ares to meander around and convenient to Mole Creek. The log fires are great and are so cosy in the dark evenings.

My husband and I decided to stay here for a couple of days as part of our trip around Tasmania. We stayed in the Hobbit cottage and it was truly one of the most peaceful and relaxing stays we've ever had. The cottage is surrounded by well tended gardens and grazing grounds for the farm animals that the owners keep....

We spent 8 nights in the Hobbit cottage. It was my first visit and my wife's second. We were impressed by the hosts' attention to detail: the little things that make the difference between a great stay and also-rans. Loved the fresh, home-made goodies and the farm's eggs, especially the blue ones. Really enjoyed rounding-up the sheep on the quad...

We've stayed previously at Blackwood Park Cottages and this time was just as great as the first. Our first stay was in the Hobbitt Cottage and the most recent in the Heritage Cottage. If you're after a luxury relaxing quiet getaway set amongst beautiful countryside with a warm log fire, either of these cottages will be the place for you....

One of many good things about Mole Creek is its close proximity to some interesting towns; Launceston and Sheffield. Mole Creek has pretty much everything you would want. Classic lunch? Tick. Blackwood Park Cottage (heritage) that I stayed in is two-bedroom home. Light colored walls, dark floors and a very comfortable living room give the cottage a warm and cosy...

“I have always stayed in the Hobbit cottage but the other house is just as good if not better. We had two bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and bathroom. There is lots of space outside if you bring children, my grandsons loved it here as have the friends I have visited with.”
