This is a 3-star hotel and is OK for a 3-star hotel. The rooms are basic. The heat was good and the beds were comfortable, and had an electric mattress paid. Only cereal, yogurt, fruit, and other cold things were on the breakfast buffet. It is right next door to the Port Arthur prison. Colorful locals frequent the bar. We...

This is an old property, but it gives direct access to the Port Arthur park. We were given room 4 that had a door to the outside porch. From there we saw the wallabies that come out at night and stay until dawn. Don't expect much from the room, it is really less than basic, but you can't ask for...

My husband and I spent 1 night at this place. Thank goodness no more! We arrived at reception to find it was closed & to proceed to the restaurant. This was also empty so proceeded to the public bar to be greeted by a number of drunks! Once gaining access to our room we were pleased to find the room...

We've stayed here recently in a Queen Room with Balcony. When we booked the room the specification of the room promised a spa bath. However, this was not the case. I've booked 2 rooms, giving one as a birthday gift and I was hugely disappointed when both rooms only have showers. When I went to the reception to express my...

We stayed three nights. This is the best location in Port Arthur. Access to the historic site is right at your back door. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Parking is easy. Perfect location. You can eat at the restaurant for dinner. Breakfast at the time we stayed was only $10 (continental) which was very good value. Staff are friendly.

The Motor Inn is right next to the Port Authur site. Room was nice and had a very nice dinner at the restaurant. They have a oublic bar which was good after looking over the historic site I could stop in for a cold beer before dinner. Staff were very nice. Well worth the stop.

Requesting wifi at a destination to find that it was non existent at best, this was a huge disappointment. Can't complain about the service as there was none. Shame as the location was excellent. This was a nonsmoking property. Just in the rooms! People were smoking just outside doorways, not good enough, as you had to walk through the smoke...

Its hard to find accommodation for a family of 5 but this motor inn had inter connecting rooms. It was really comfortable and clean. They had a restaurant on site which is easier for us. I would highly recommend it for a large family and really well priced.

Food was below average and over priced! We were informed that they had no head chef and the second in charge had been experimenting!! For experimenting menus the orices should have been adjusted! We paid $32 for an over cooked steak on one of the nights! Irrespective we were then served a below average meal for the price inclusive of...
