An easy stop, think it is actually on the historic site which is definitely worth spending some time visiting as it is quite fascinating and picturesque. Really just expected a motel for the night, but enjoyed a surprisingly pleasant stay. Food in restaurant was ok, but we think others around us chose better! Staff were accommodating, no complaints at all....

This is really quite an average motel even though it is clean & reasonably comfortable -- it needs a fair bit of maintenance. the worst aspect is probably the noise from adjacent rooms, but a toilet that ran all night was not pleasant. We had stayed here before & only returned because of the direct access to the penal settlement...

The rooms were quite dated and dingy but you get what you pay for. There were a few glasses and a fridge - that's about it kitchen-wise. The TV was super small and I couldn't find anything about the Wi-Fi anywhere. We ate dinner at the bar and enjoyed a drink with some of the locals, who were very welcoming...

We stayed in this old style motel on a recent trip to Port Arthur. We found it to be clean and tidy and perfectly located adjacent to the ruins. You can pay and enter the ruins from the motel, but you still have to walk up to the visitor Centre to get your lanyard to display around your neck. That...

Lovely motel that we spent four nights. Clean and well appointed. Rooms had fridges. Best part was the electric blankets on the beds. Room overlooked the historic site so had a slightly eerie feel! Pub is a good old local aussie affair. And the restaurant serves pretty decent food. Chicken parmigiana being up there with the best i had in...

We stayed for a night mid January. The room is a bit dated but it's clean, functional and a great price. The staff were very friendly, the food fantastic (especially the local fish) and the view from the restaurant over Port Arthur is worth seeing. We booked the Ghost tour through the motor inn which turned out to be a...

Our family of three adults and three children checked in. We enjoyed the accomodation and found the staff friendly and welcoming. All who attended to us appeared to be from one family. Rooms were comfortable and tidy. My restaurant meal of Lamb Shanks was huge and most enjoyable. The red wine selection was more than appealing, as were the lovely...

Good value and good location. Room had views across Port Arthur. Room was very old and in need of renovation and very small and lacked facilities. It had no mobile phone coverage. The restaurant has amazing views across Port Arthur. The food was well presented. The staff were very accommodating.

Paid $99 for one night. The Port Arthur Motor Inn is the closest accommodation to the historic site in Port Arthur. Your room key actually opens up the gate from the property leading into the historic site! We checked in via their bar as there was nobody in the reception; which was fine. Room was a little rundown with those...

If I have a choice I won't stay in Port Arthur next time I visit here. This motel is right next to the historic site and I'm worried there might be some invisible visitors in the midnight. Haha, just joking. It's really good value for one night stay, old but clean. The staff is very friendly. The best is the...
