This was the perfect place to stay. The food in the dining room is delicious, the bed was very comfortable and when we woke up there was a fantastic view of the bay. The breakfast was very enjoyable and very reasonably priced

Hi Dave M, Thank you for taking the time to submit a view on the Bayside Inn. We were all pleased that you enjoyed your stay in one of our upstairs bay view rooms. Watching the sun rise over the bay is glorious. Our chef takes pride in serving up delicious food and we are delighted that you enjoyed your...

Although the staff were friendly, if your thinking of staying at this motel I would recommend to rethink your choice. No microwave oven, old tv's mounted so high it is difficult to watch. The tv's must have been bought on sale as they are extremely old. The cupboards need to be updated. The skirting boards need to be painted and...

We were saddened to read that you did not enjoy your stay in one of our budget older style rooms. Unfortunately we are unable to supply microwave ovens, our rooms are not classified as self contained and cooking in these rooms is prohibited. We do have upstairs rooms with views over Georges Bay and the town centre, these rooms may...

We have stayed in other Budget motels which have been far better. The bathroom was tatty with the loo in need of bleach as it was black at the bottom of the bowl and the seat was ingrained through wear, which made a mockery of the strip of paper saying hygienically cleaned. The indoor swimming pool warm but the tiles...

This place is old and very in need of a revamp. The room was a really good size, but it was really dodgy, very much needs refurbishment. Was concerning when the first thing I saw was a can of insect spray. The only positive thing I could say is that it is in a good position. We paid $135 for...

Stayed 1 night and for a place to sleep it isnt bad. You get what you paid for..cheapest motel during my 2 week roadtrip in Tasmania...and the worst. Very dated motel room, ugly brick wall outside the room, old tv with bad reception. Good location.

If you are looking for something modern don't come here older style with a bar restaurant underneath had a bottle shop. Room was clean and spacious but a little outdated and they only have stairs no lift but had great view. I would stay again.

Stopped here for one night. Looks like 70s building with no real updates since then. Everything is pretty old, but worked. The doors appeared to need some force to get latched shut, which generally involved slamming them, so it wasn't quiet when people arrived or left. As others have mentioned, old style TV, with digital tuner box. Not great to...

We had pool room so outdated had set top box with old tv. Room smelt of mould. Couldn't believe the thick black mould on rubber bath mat. Suggest you go across road and buy new one from reject shop. Previous night we paid $5 more and stayed at a place in Bicheno which had a terrific room all mod cons...

I had no expectations when I booked a short stay here, but wow - what a laugh. Straight out of a 1970s, The Castle type of dream. For over $100 you get a $60-$70 room. There's no mobile coverage except for Telstra and even that's crap. In house WiFi simply does not work enough to allow useable access. It's basically...

Decor and beds need replacing. There was a lot of road and other noise as the room was not very soundproof. Very convenient location. Across the road from shops, restaurants, bottle shop, beach and boat harbour. Bistro in the tavern is good.
