We had guests in town so went to Tidal Waters for dinner. We had a table of 6 and almost all of us had something different. Every person loved their meals. I had prawns for entree and steak main course, both absolutely delicious. The timing between course was perfect and the waiting staff although it seemed to be only one...

Once again a great dining experience with the "locals special". The special's menu is now down to 3 choices and a glass of wine but the 3 options were a good variety and between the four of us we tried them all and were very pleased with our meals. A very reasonable wine is part of the deal and the...

The hotel is located in a very nice location and well laid out. The rooms are okay but no airconditioning. Rooms have heater for winter and portable fan for summer. However it is not managed well. Upon arrival, had to wait for person at reception and when the person came, he was just in very casual tee shirt and loose...

Struggeling between a 3-4 here as the room we had was really nice absolutely ok, not as some other reviews here. Great views over the lagoon and it was lovely to sit outside with that view. A bit overpriced maybe, but ok, high season. Dinner was really excellent with some not so common choices - all prepared excellently. So the...

Disappointed with this restaurant. Food lacked the freshness tbat you are expecting from Tasmania. Priced average however food below average. Views are the big attraction amazing. Service slow. Aesthetically lovely.

First time we have stayed at this location - it was huge and spacious, both in terms of the room and the reception/bistro/deck areas. Staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant for dinner for very good. Great location with views over the water. Room had everything needed (but no air con - which didn't both us, and not needed during our...

The term 'Resort' is used loosely, maybe they should just be called Tidal Waters to bring customer expectations down. Room seemed nice enough, quite large which is good. Terrible bed with springs sticking in your back. Outdated decor in rooms. They could do so much better with the bathroom as it is a large space, when I stepped into the...

nice and central location on the waterfront, restaurant dinner was good, unfortunately no airconditioner and in summer that is a main issue, needs a little updating, but we spent only night time in the room due to travilling up to bay of fires and lunch at Salty Seas bar. friendly staff and bathroom was adequate
