The campsite is the only one in Stanley. It has a great location next to the sea but pitches can be windy. The camp kitchen is clean and large with two sets of cooking areas, microwave, kettle, stoves, hobs, covered BBQ area, cutlery, fridge freezer and TV. The BBQ's are free to use. The showers were very clean and a...

We stayed in a cabin which was super clean with all updated crockery and white goods. The park is right on the beach and easy to walk to the dock, Main Street and supermarket. I'd recommend going for a walk up to the summit of The Nut - a reasonable level of fitness is required as it is quite steep....

Stayed here for 4 nights in early January, nicest park we have ever stayed, everything was spotless, fantastic location right on the beach, only thing wrong was the lousy water pressure in the showers

Nice van park with friendly staff however there are a few things to mention. We did get a slight sewage smell outside our van which was a bit off putting to sit outside. Try not to be near the camp kitchen as this is quite noisy until around 10pm. Also, as you are exposed to the sea it can be...

From the moment we were greeted by Rosie at reception we were delighted with our selection. She booked us a table for diner and gave good recommendations and directions. Shower facilities were immaculate and they even provided music and freshly laundered foot towels. Literally steps from the beach and a lovely town to spend time in.

From the warm reception where we purchased some tasty locally made sauce to the beautiful little spa room, our stay was great. The view across the eastern inlet was beautiful even on the blustery afternoon when we arrived. We very much enjoyed the cosy, small but well finished room with its very comfortable bed and ofcourse the relaxing spa. Everything...

The park is located on the water front and enjoys beautiful views, especially at sunset. Sites are a good size and flat with some protection from trees, etc. Amenities are a little old but well looked after and very clean, a nice touch is bath mats for the showers. A new mat is available for each person. The showers however...

We stayed for 2 nights in a cabin with my parents in another cabin. The location was fantastic right on the beach. We were close enough to be able to walk to town so could leave our car parked whilst there. The cabin had everything we needed in it, comfortable bed and great shower. We used the BBQ to cook...

Grassy areas, shade and wind protection, just steps to the water, clean bathrooms, big camp kitchen, helpful staff and walking distance to the Nut and everything else in town with the supermarket just next door! Highly recommend this as a stop in north west Tas!

Firstly, Stanley is our favourite place from our trip through Tassie so far. It is a must do. The Tourist park is perfectly located within the town both a casual stroll into the town pub or along the water to the seafood places. It is also next to a well priced supermarket. The grounds are tidy and green. Powered site...
