Didn't get what we booked or paid for. Arrived expecting first class pampering and the advertised, 'superb' breakfasts. We were aware of Graham's recent loss and were more than happy to forgo aspects of the service for due consideration. We were greeted by Graham's daughter, there to help out during a difficult period. While we stood there on the verandah...

Very cosy and inviting place to stay, with plenty of little extras to make you feel welcome and right at home! Room was very comfortable, with heater, teas, coffee, sea views, and port by the spa. Our host Graham was very friendly, and went above and beyond, setting up a lovely happy hour platter, and incredible & generous continental breakfast,...

We recently stayed a couple of nights with Graham at Hanlon House B&B. It's a difficult time following the sudden death of Maxine a few weeks ago, but Graham has risen to the challenge and did a wonderful job making us feel very welcome and serving up a delicious breakfast feast with cereals, prunes in port (delicious), home stewed fruit...

Friendly people with local knowledge and time to talk. Rooms are comfortable and clean with lots of extras . Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and all cooked as you wait. Location is excellent within walking distance to all the main area of Stanley and close to restaurants. Lots of reading materials and information about the northwest area.

Although we arrived really early, Maxine made us feel welcome. She was so helpful and kind, helping my husband by booking a doctor's appointment for him, and contacting the local chemist. Our beautiful warm room in the historic home, had a large bathroom with a walk in shower. The bed was really comfortable and all great choice of pillows. The...

Our room was lovely, separate from the house, but basically on the beach. The hosts were very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety. The views outside the dining room were amazing, overlooking the ocean. The hosts gave us plenty of ideas to explore Stanley and the surrounds.

The charming house at the foot of hill facing the sea is owned by a very nice and friendly couple Maxine and Graham. We really enjoyed our one night stay and were very impressed by the comfortable rooms , Maxine's cooking, Graham's incredible wood crafts and also the little penguins in the back yard spotlighted by the torch in the...

Maxine and Graham know how to make guests feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. We also had a great view of one of the beautiful beaches in Stanley. The breakfast was high quality and with plenty of choice - a highly enjoyable experience. Our hosts were more than happy to offer advice...
