We stayed for two nights at Franklin Manor and found it to be of a high standard. Our immaculate room was cosy, with lovely touches such as fresh floral arrangements, homemade biscuits and a comfortable bed allowing for a great nights sleep. The hosts could not have been more charming. A generous continental breakfast is served in the dining room....

Christine was a wonderful host and we were made to feel very welcome. She assisted us with our dinner and cruise bookings. Our room was lovely and clean. Continental breakfast was served in the formal dining room. We expected Miss Maple to walk in at any moment. Its walking distance to all the sights of Strahan. Highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I are not big fans of B&Bs but decided to try Franklin Manor based on past reviews and the lack of hotels in Strahan. What a great B&B!! The location is excellent (within walking distance of the harbour); the building is magnificient, particulary the two lounges complete with fire places: the breakfast is one of the best...

Only two words to describe our stay, simply wonderful. The owners couldn't do enough to make our stay relaxed and enjoyable. From the warm wood fire burning each night in the lounge to the freshly made warm muffins made each morning for breakfast, this is one highly recommended B & B. Well worth the stay.

The hosts were very accommodating and knowledgeable of the local and not so local areas, and couldn't do more to make your stay comfortable. The manor itself is very comfortable and cosy, with fires burning in both lounge areas, and...

Franklin manor is one of the loveliest places I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. From the moment you meet Christine at reception you feel welcome and like you've just got home. We booked a manor suite for 4 nights and were glad we did. The room was large but cosy and the king size bed comfortable. (mattress is...
