Only two words to describe our stay, simply wonderful. The owners couldn't do enough to make our stay relaxed and enjoyable. From the warm wood fire burning each night in the lounge to the freshly made warm muffins made each morning for breakfast, this is one highly recommended B & B. Well worth the stay.

We had a 2 night stay at Franklin manor during our tour of Tasmania visiting from England, and weren't disappointed. The hosts were very accommodating and knowledgeable of the local and not so local areas, and couldn't do more to make your stay comfortable. The manor itself is very comfortable and cosy, with fires burning in both lounge areas, and...

Great welcome on arrival, character house, warm fires, great fresh breakfast of yoghurt, fruit and muesli, home made buns, even has a bar for an evening tipple and an Easter egg for all the guests on the Sunday morning was a nice touch indeed.

Franklin manor is one of the loveliest places I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. From the moment you meet Christine at reception you feel welcome and like you've just got home. We booked a manor suite for 4 nights and were glad we did. The room was large but cosy and the king size bed comfortable. (mattress is...

very pleasant people in Christine and Craig. Nice easy location, far enough away and very quiet. We had room 10 which was a bit small, but breakfast and all else is very good. It's a bit B&B for me but wonderful facility and would definitely stay again. I think there is a lot worse around Strahan and unless you get...

We arrived at franklin manor where the hospitality was lovely, rooms very nice, bed comfortable with comfy pillows. Within walking distance to the few eating places in Strahan and where you catch the cruise tours. Only downside would be the simple breakfast of cereal, fruit, yoghurt and toast, no other choices.

What a Gem. This is a delightful B&B / Boutique Hotel in a superb location in Strahan When Christine provided us with such a warm welcome and assisted us to settle in we knew we were staying somewhere special.
