Recently spent a weekend away in Tasmania staying at the Piermont. It was excellent. Private & Romantic and the perfect place to getaway sitting on the deck listening to the sea. The lodges are beautiful & rustically charming. We loved it... super handy to have the little kitchen facilities & the fireplace was awesome. What a great find, & such... More

We stayed 2 nights in Cottage 8, a spa cottage with ocean views. It was perfect - stunning views over the water from living room, bedroom and deck. The deck was ideal for breakfast in the sun, and there are comfortable chaises longues on which to sit and while away the day. The owners have been thoughtful in their design... More

My husband and I stayed in cottage 14, on the beach, for three nights. On arrival the lady who greeted us, at reception could have been more welcoming or at least feigned some interest in us. However, once we got to our honeymoon cottage, our impressions changed considerably. Clean, cosy, comfortable, private and quiet accommodation away from any screaming children.... More

We stayed here one night on our way through from Launceston to Hobart in cottage 5. When we first arrived our impression of our two person cottage was cute and romantic, they are really well set out with a spa bath big enough for one and the bed set up on the higher level. The couch is not quite big... More

We stayed for one night, on our way from Hobart to Launceston. Piermont is fantastically located, right on the beach, looking straight across to Freycinet NP. Our cabin was new and clean, with an enormous bathroom with spa bath. The heating was only just adequate. So, if the weather had been really cold, the cabins might be a bit chilly.... More

This was our third visit to Piermont Retreat and was a fantastic long weekend. It's a great location with spectacular views of the bay and surrounds. The ideal place to switch off and unwind for a few days. The accommodation is perfect for winter with stone cottages and log fires. Within the area you can find great walking/running tracks, bike... Just loved this quiet retreat. Great location for hiking, wine tasting and just enjoying the incredible views. Our cottage was lovely...clean, cozy and charming. We cooked in-house most nights and enjoyed eating on our deck. We had the fireplace roaring every night and enjoyed borrowing movies from reception. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is a perfect place to go to as a retreat from the world. The cottages have open fire places with views out to the Hazards and access to a beach. It is probably quite different in summer, but in winter it is beautiful and uncrowded.

Cute cottage. Comfortable bed. Gorgeous outlook. After reading previous reviews we were very cautious about staying - however we could not fault this retreat. We stayed in cottage 13. Was very private with such a gorgeous view. Restaurant was amazing!

We booked Cottage 3 - two bedrooms, with the kids upstairs on a mezzanine floor. The cottage was lovely and the location and views just beautiful. Good points: - milk in the fridge - fire burning on arrival - heaters on in bedroom on arrival - all the kitchen ware / appliances that you would need for a short stay... More
