My boyfriend and I escaped Michigan’s lockdown for the weekend with our dog, and decided to venture to Hocking Hills. There were many different options for cabins, but we picked this one due to the free WiFi (a huge bonus since cell signal is spotty in the entire region, and I wanted to be reachable in case of an emergency with my kiddos.)
The location is very convenient to the nearby Walmart, which we stopped at twice during our stay to pick up groceries.
We stayed in Turkey Hollow, the first cabin off the drive at the bottom of the hill. It was even cuter than it looks in the photos, and Lana and Sue truly thought of everything! There was nice music playing on the TV, the hot tub was ready to go, and the cabin was well appointed with all the kitchen tools, utensils, linens and everything we needed less the groceries. There was even a personalized note welcoming us, plus dishes for the dog and treats and a toy for him.
HHSP was closed for the duration of our stay, but we stayed entertained the entire time by hiking the property, fishing the pond, and a horseback ride at Equestrian Ridge (about 25 mins away). We could have stayed just at our cabin the whole time and still had an incredible trip.
The hot tub was very romantic, fire pit was great, and you can tell how much care and effort was put into building these cabins and putting all the perfect touches on. We got to chat with both owners during our stay, and they were warm, helpful and hospitable- even allowing us to peek inside two other cabins that had just been checked out of.
We will DEFINITELY be back to Springwood, and we are so grateful that we chose these cabins for our stay! Thank you, Lana and Sue!!

After a one night stay at the Crow's Nest, I decided to return (with my three dogs-pet fee is $39 no matter how many you bring) for a five night stay. My dogs LOVE the homemade dog treats and toys that they get to take home with them. The staff was extremely accommodating. I am experiencing some health problems and traveling by myself, so I only left the cabin once. They coordinated the daily hot tub checks with me, and brought in firewood when I needed it. On the morning I was leaving, I could hardly walk, and the staff helped me load the car, and finished my dishes. I attempted to give them a tip for all of their help, and they would not to take it. The cabin had everything I needed and more. I planned to study and to do some photography, and it was a lovely and comfortable place to do so. The wood fireplace was a comfort in the chilly weather, and it was great to enjoy the hot tub in the snow! There are grassy areas on either side of the cabin, so it was easy for me to let me little dogs out to do their business. I am looking forward to returning with my boyfriend, and getting out to enjoy the area more. I really could not recommend this business more highly, and it is THE place to go if you want to travel with your pets in the Hocking Hills. The location feels private even though you can see portions of other cabins and the laundry and office during the winter. It is super convenient to Logan with restaurants and shopping, as well as the Hocking Hills State Park areas.

We stayed 4 nights in Turkey Hollow and loved it. Cozy 1 bedroom, pet friendly cabin. Well stocked kitchen. Nice hot tub. Very secluded. You feel like you're the only people in the world. Could be very romantic. Since the state park was closed, it was great to have 50 acres of trails on the property. They are clearly marked. Nice little pond too, where my wife was thrilled to catch some bluegills. Unlike many cabins in the area, the water is filtered and does not smell of sulfur. Saw a doe and fawn walk though the property each day.

A relaxing retreat in the heart of the Hocking Hills. We stayed in Deer Crossing. It was perfect for me, my wife, my 88 year old mom and our dog. The owners even left a toy for the dog and supplied bowls. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace, complete with seating, in addition to the large, secluded hot tub. The beds are comfortable and the place was spotless when we arrived. It was nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The rustic setting is the perfect location for a getaway.

We stayed at Lilly's pad for a winter break, 3 nights, with another couple. We were envisioning walks in the snow etc. but the weather did not cooperate - it rained the whole time. That said, we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is so cozy but not confining with the great room. Covered back and front porches. We brought games and there were some there as well. Hot tub clean and close to the door.
Everything was exactly as promised and described. Our dogs loved getting surprise new toys. We could watch provided TV services or log onto our paid subscriptions (we did very little of this)
Cabins were a little closer together than we expected, but the backs all point in different directions and plenty of privacy.
Advice - Kitchen - If you are wanting a specific pan for cooking something, I would suggest calling ahead and asking if it is there, but there was enough variety of pans that we could make what we had planned.

We stayed in Lilly's Pad and it was amazing! Walking into the cabin was like a breath of fresh air. Lilly's Pad is the epitome of a cozy cabin in the forest. The small details that are given attention made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. There are woods surrounding the cabin that we were able to explore in addition to the many attractions that are nearby. Dog bowls, treats and even toys were provided for our dog that traveled along with us. We were able to enjoy nightly fires in the fireplace as well as a fire in the outdoor pit while looking at the stars one night. We saw deer one morning while relaxing in the hot tub - such a relaxing experience. The whole experience was unbelievable and we will be returning!

Very well equipped cabin with all the dishes, utensils and cookware that you will need. The hot tub easily fits 4 with 2 “deep” seats. The fire pit is private and the yard large enough for the dogs to run. Speaking of the dogs- there were 2 bowls provided with a sweet lamb toy and a jar of treats- a great welcome for the dogs. The location is under 2 miles to Old Mans cave and a country store about the same. We have stayed here before and enjoyed the cabin, the pond and the trails on site. You won’t be disappointed here. The Crows nest has a covered porch for the rainy days.

We stayed in Butterfly Trail for NYE and had a wonderful time. The interior decor is beautiful and wood fireplace was an especially nice touch. The patio setup was very private and secluded with a nice view. The location is also incredibly convenient, located mere miles away from some of the more popular trails in Hocking Hills. We would certainly visit again!

This was the 4th time we stayed with springwood cabins. The cabins are always well taken care of, and the location is beautiful, close to everything you are going to do, and still out away and peaceful. Our first time was at the rose. Our second visit was at deer crossing and our last two visits were at Lily's pad. I recomend these cabins to everyone. Well worth the price.

Twice in the last 12yrs and it didn't disappoint. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a personalized note, chocolates on table, soft music playing and THE cleanest smell. The beds were comfy and my back never hurt the entire 3 nights. Firewood was on the property and for $10 ypu recv. A lot of wood. For our pups they had a jar of doggie biscuits which looked homemade not milkbone junk, water and food bowls and a medvet magnet on refrigerator. Deerwood cabin was immaculate and easy to get too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
Thank you,

I think all cabins except the Rose and Turkey Hollow have two bedrooms.
We stayed at the Crow's Nest and it was all very private
