We recently stayed at Rainbow Springs while in the Loudonville area visiting family. The campground is ok, has mostly permanent campers. Bathrooms were clean but outdated. Swim lake looked nice, but we didn't swim. It was good for staying for a short visit as we did.

The campground is clean and quiet. The showers are clean and have very hot water. All the sites have full hookup. The campground is very close to the falls and swimming area. If you like tubing it has a beautiful river to tube down.

My son and I have been camping at Rainbow Springs for years and it is one of the most peaceful and relaxing places we have ever been. We took a camper out 7 summers ago and have never had a reason to ever move it again. It's a beautiful property with over 100 acres with 3 natural springs of delicious pure water that makes everything there grow so lush and green. The family that owns it are very kind and generous people and I feel fortunate that I found this place when I did. I've watched my son grow up out there playing in the woods, swimming in the pond, fishing, riding his bike and enjoying nature in a safe, friendly environment. We absolutely LOVE Rainbow Springs :)

Don't stay here if you want your every moved to be watched! While driving into the campground, we were greeted with a bunch of signs such as no boomboxes, no this, no that. After driving around the place looking for a spot to set up tent, we parked the car in front of the office trailer to sign paperwork and pay for the night. This car immediately pulls up behind me but I didn't think anything of it. Anyway, card got declined, so I went to the car to to transfer money on my phone so I don't have to use my other cards. Owner (old man) came over and started scolding us and then proceeded to scold the lady in the register office. He then came back and then kicked us out because we didn't park in the right spot and pointed out that the card got declined and accused us of trying to steal from him. He did all this while the poor employee was behind the counter watching him yell and go off at us.

Ruined the whole camping trip...

Awful management. Awful place to camp. Don't waste money. This place is a joke. They are fake! I would recommend a different campground. Human turds. floating in supposedly swimming area. Don't camp here!
