No complaints or issues with our stay. I will add that we recently stayed at a "very close-by" hotel to this one that we were not happy with. Our experience at Home2Suites was perfect! Clean room ( and bath!!! ) Friendly Staff. Free wifi, coffee in the lobby, and good breakfast selection. All good things to say about this hotel stay.
Stopped here for one night on our way out East. We stayed several years ago when they were new and there were no other hotels in this area. They’ve improved immensely. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Ours had a full size fridge and dishwasher. There was a sign that you could get a portable cooktop to use free of charge. The area has many restaurant choices for hungry travelers with minimal drive time. The breakfast was a very nice surprise. They had your usual selections for hotel food like cereal, oatmeal, yogurts and pasties. On top of that they had a nice selection of breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos with simplified microwave instructions incase you’re only half awake when you’re at breakfast. I have stayed here Mon to Fri for 2 to 3 weeks a month since September. At first, cleanliness was spotty, but it has improved consistently. During my last stay, the weather was going to get bad so I was directed by my company to leave a day early. I contacted the hotel's corporate number 24 hours prior to my new check out date. They advised me to contact the front desk. When speaking to the front desk about my situation and requesting an early check out/days credit, I was told that it was not possible based on the manner that I booked my room. I booked on the Hilton app so I asked so that I could understand. Then, I started my next question with "can you help me " and the employee began to yell at me "I already told you I'm not giving you a refund!!!". I politely asked her to immediately STOP talking to me in that manner. I explained that I was attempting to ask how to book properly during winter months to be able to modify stays to avoid bad weather. I drive 5.5 hours to this area to work. I was trying to understand how to do the right thing while being fiscally responsible for my company's money. There was absolutely no reason for that type of disrespect and rudeness. The front desk has never been overly polite, but this was a shocking surprise. I spend well over $1400 to $2100 at this hotel each month. I would just like to be treated nicely. I'm not expecting special treatment. But that's ok. Hilton has lost my business. I will pay more and drive down the road to the newer and nicer Residence Inn. I will also make sure that no representatives of my company stay at this facility during our work in this area. …
The hotel is clean with great amenities. They have an amazing staff that makes you feel like family. I especially want to thank the manager Cassandra for being so kind to my husband and I. She is definitely a great asset to the hotel.
Wow, wow, wow. First off, the staff was amazing. Very engaging and seemed to make every interaction personal. I really can’t say enough as to the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Rooms were SPOTLESS. Breakfast was very nice and offered good hot vegetarian options. On-site laundry at 75 cents a load was a great amenity.
I was there on business and it was a very nice place to come back to after a long day of meetings. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are great. Full Size Fridge all the comforts of home. This is my second time staying at this hotel and I will stay here again when I am back in town. I forgot to tell you about the bonus- They have a free hot food in the morning included with your stay
This hotel used to be our go to place In Cleveland since it opened. I was hoping all the recent bad reviews were incorrect, but they were not. Our first room had sticky stuff splattered on the wall, the shower had not been cleaned, and the previous guest unhooked the cable. I tried to reconnect it, but couldn’t figure it out. Second room was a little better. No sticky walls and the TV worked. Shower wasn’t that clean. While we were switching rooms I saw the front desk person in the hall and I mentioned how the second room wasn’t much better. She did not care.
We stayed here about 5 years ago & it was clean & well taken care of. This time it was filthy, disgusting & nasty! We will never be back. The room was nasty, some Indian man yelled when we asked for clean towels the next day. We attempted to check out the next morning and they said no we would still be charged.
We stayed in this hotel a few years ago while attending a family reunion in Ohio. When family planned another reunion recently, we booked this hotel again. This time (September 2022) it was awful! We stayed on the first floor and the carpet smelled awful and was terribly stained. We found out that this is a pet friendly hotel and apparently, they allow the animals to stay in rooms with carpet. The bathroom was dirty and even had a dried up, dirty wash cloth on the bathroom floor on the side of the vanity. Next to the wash cloth was a collection of thick dust and a dead bug of some sort. It was gross! We were supposed to stay 2 nights but decided to check out the next morning. I went down to the front desk to speak with the person down there but she was already being reamed out by someone else so we decided we would just contact the hotel company directly. I received an email from the hotel asking for a review and I told them I was upset that we paid $217 for a room that smelled like dog pee and wasn't clean. I told them I would wait to see if they would at least reduce the charge before leaving a review on Trip Advisor and I have heard nothing. So, be aware!! Two of my siblings stayed in the same hotel and one of my siblings discovered upon checking in that there was blood/feces?? stains on the bedding. My sibling went down and got the manager who saw the bedding and made arrangements to have new bedding put on AND they reduced her room charge. Excellent service. Front desk staff and housekeepers are great! I feel welcome and it feels like home. Here with the company and if I wasn’t I would still stay here. I like how housekeeping have a cleaning schedule for there stay over guest.
