This place is suppose to be under renovation. Second time I stay there and will be the last. Not very clean no recognition for being a lifetime member. Cafe food is pricy rooms are dated I’m done with this place they even screwed up my direct bill and thank god for a manager being on site or I would have got charged twice

Near airport but no shuttle. Convenient to the highway. We arrived due to a flight delay at 2am and could not book on the Marriott app. I called and Derrick was very kinda and accommodating getting us a room in the middle of the night. We were upgraded with our Marriott status. Our previous airport hotel closed so I will be using this in the future if needed but would love a shuttle. Starbucks in hotel was nice. Didn’t use the restaurant but it looked nice.

Horrible Experience with this Marriott hotel!! I booked this hotel the night before our flight was to leave before a big storm hit Cleveland, thinking that would help us make our 6am flight being so close to the airport. Only one hour after I booked it, my flight cancelled. Not only did that effect our Christmas vacation, but we lost out on our cruise! I contacted Marriott as I'm a Bonvoy member of over 10 years and cancelled the reservation only an hour after I made it. They charged me the full amount of the stay! And when I reached out to them about this, Marriott Bonvoy said they couldn't do anything about that--that it was the hotel that made that policy. It's disappointing that they would just abide by the cancellation policy vs. look at the experience, where not only did we not make our flight due to Storm Elliot, but we missed our cruise and were unable to get out for the holidays. Good sized room, big parking lot. At check in no bellman’s carts were available but Tonya at the front desk not only got us in a first floor room right next to a Parking space so it was convenient to back into that space and bring stuff in thru a side door. She even helped Me Roll our luggage down to the room while hubby parked the car! She deserves kudos! As we’ve noted many times, people are so rude and thoughtless they take their stuff up to the room and leave the cart overnight so no other travelers can get them. Will never understand why hotels don’t keep a log of what room took the cart to be able to get them back..or maybe have to leave their drivers license or credit card at the desk!?! Rooms could use a freshen up. No microwave in the room and the one in the lobby is old, tiny and took 2 minutes to heat up cinnamon rolls!…

Just in my 3rd room now since check in. First had a strong mildew smell, the second had crumbs and hair in the bed. Third did too but I gave up and asked them to change the sheets. Pretty dirty hotel over all. Manager seemed okay with the switches but surprised as well.

The staff was nice and helpful but it's obvious that no one wants to put any money into this place any more. We've stayed there numerous times and this time we were struck by how run down the place is. The curtains in our room were broken, the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and the mattress in our room was obviously in need of replacement. They seem to be cutting corners in small things. There was only a single water glass provided for the room and no bathmat in the bathroom. The didn't even have plastic bags lining the trash cans. It's also obvious that they have no intention of going back to having maid service unless you request it but they show no sign of cutting prices to reflect what must be a substantial savings. It certainly doesn't reflect well on Marriott. To add insult to injury breakfast was for a fee with breakfast sandwiches at $9 and bottles of soda for $4.25. Finally, most of the staff (including the woman serving the food) were NOT masked. Next time we will try one of the many other hotels in the area.…

We really felt ripped off when we booked this Courtyard by Marriott in Middleburg Hts Ohio. The staff member working the counter at check in was rude and unhelpful. The lobby is rundown, dirty and disgusting. I wouldn't sit on any of the furniture as you can see the dirt on it, the tears and poor maintenance. The carpet in the elevators and hallways are stained, dirty and gross. The room was "clean" - no bug issues BUT it smelled perfumed like they were covering up the smell. It didn't *feel* clean. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. I would have told Marriott this but when they emailed me the survey, as soon as my first response was a 2, they ended the survey. Guess they know its not to standard and don't care. I've started at many Marriott hotels for years but I'm done with trying Courtyards as this is the 3rd one in 3 years that has been horrible. It's time to switch to Hilton because I haven't been disappointed with them yet.…

Stayed for one night during a brief trip to Cleveland. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Hotel was very dingy and tired looking. Broken furniture in the lobby and outside. The restaurant was closed on the weekend along with the coffee bar. But the worst thing- and what is precipitating my review- is the horrible allergies I had from my one night stay. While the room was clean on surface I immediately noticed that it was in desperate need of a deep clean, but thought it would be fine for one night. I am now regretting that decision.

I read reviews and saw many that were less than flattering. We stayed here for a tournament as a team. It was a convenient location to the interstate and different restaurants. It was clean (no bugs!) and the bath functioned well. The climate control was fine and I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. I was even permitted a little bit of an early check in when we arrived sooner than expected. They provided us with a secure space so our players could store their gear so it wouldn't freeze in the cars overnight or take up too much space in our rooms. They were so easy to work with.

My wife and I were physical and verbally threaten on the property by Christine the Housekeeping Manager. We were told to "get our S%#t and get our black a$$ out of the room by 1pm" She threaten to call the police on us about our guaranteed 4pm checkout or "put her hands on my wife". Along with her disrespect and rudeness I was also lied on, saying that I made the front desk attendant cry from rude behavior when checking in. Which I would like someone to investigate the hotel footage to verify. I have contacted customer care and have gotten mixed answers to how to handle this situation. I was also denied my privileges of a Welcome gift, available upgrade, late checkout, and the ability to purchase market items with Bonvoy points. Overall, I have been experiencing a difficult time utilizing the Explore rate in conjunction with my members benefits, mainly because of the lack of understanding coming from hotel associates on the true policy. I have read your policies, and to my understanding, a person may utilize an Explore rate with Elite members benefits. If this is not so, please clarify. Thank you…
