This was a quick overnight stop on our way to Chicago. Literally booked it 10 minutes before we checked in and so glad we did. This property seems to be brand new. Everyone was super nice the place was well appointed and spotless, check in seamless. Highly recommend!
Suppose a person sat down and figured out what features would embody The Perfect Hotel? That is what seems to have happened when this hotel was designed. Brightly lit, immaculately clean, comfortable bed, well-designed shower, hooks in the bathroom, flat surfaces and nooks for one's belongings, coffee station, refrigerator and microwave at viewing height, plenty of outlets for digital devices.. including a Smart TV to which streaming movies could be cast. There are side tables for each side of the bed and uplighting across the headboard. Breakfast had numerous options and the breakfast area has a few conference tables that will accommodate laptop connections. Even the elevator offers a smooth ride ;)
This was our team hotel for our baseball tournament at Sports Force Park. It’s located close to the restaurants and shopping on Rt 250 and not far from the fields or Cedar Point. There is plenty of space to hangout in the lobby and patio area including a meeting space. The rooms were clean and nicely updated with the option of 2 beds and pullout sofa with microwave, kuerig and fridge. The breakfast was great and rotated between scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, bacon and turkey sausage and omelets, fried potatoes, sausage links and turkey sausage. There were warm cinnamon rolls and other options as well. With at least 2 teams with hungry athletes they kept the breakfast full each morning. There were also always towels for the pool. The ice machine on the 3rd floor always had plenty of ice which was great to fill coolers and the laundry was cheap, maybe $3 to wash and dry. The hotel was also surprisingly quiet after 10 which is surprisingly with as many kids are in the hotel. I would highly recommend!…
Good front desk service/greeting. The corridors and general gathering spaces are kept very clean. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower (and all the bathroom), was perfect. The bathroom was not at all cramped, and the shower is great! I would DEFINITELY recommended this hotel.
We were required to stay at this Holiday Inn because we were participating in a volleyball tournament. We spent two nights at this hotel and there was absolutely no hot water for the entirety of the weekend. I called multiple times to inquire if the hot water problem is going to be fixed. The person at the desk stated that they were aware of the problem but it was never fixed or addressed I left my phone number for the manager to contact me so I could be compensated for this major inconvenience. No one in the hotel had hot water at all the entire weekend. The hotel had plenty of time to address the problem however they chose not to. I do not recommend this hotel
Great place to stay. Very clean. Friendly check-in staff. We stayed here twice in during our Sept road trip. Once heading out East and again on our way home. Morning check-out person didn't seem to know her job very well. On our second stay when she checked us out she checked us out of wrong room. We question the final price because it was more than we were told at check-in & what appear on charges on the T.V. She told us it was because of the added taxes. When we stopped for breakfast two hours later we looked at the receipt and she had given us somebody else's receipt. The only other thing was that they did not enforce masks.
This is a great HIE! Updated, clean, friendly & great location. One of the top 5 places we have ever stayed. Stayed here a couple nights while headed to PIB area. The prices in this area are cheaper than those closer to Cedar Pt & lake area. You can certainly justify the extra 7-8 miles of driving time for the difference in prices. Staff was great. We like to eat where the locals eat so asked the staff for recommendations. They were right on. Highly recommend.
This is a newly renovated hotel and they really did a great job upgrading it from the old Super 8 property. I booked this months in advance and stayed here 5 nights while vacationing here for Cedar Point. I had stayed at another of their properties in Logan, Utah and had a great experience there and this one did not disappoint. The staff was cheerful and very helpful throughout my stay. They do offer hot and cold breakfast options including make your own pancakes. They also have an outdoor patio with fireplace and an indoor pool. There also are coin operated laundry machines and a fitness/gym room on the ground floor. My room was well appointed with a king bed, chase lounge, mini fridge, and a TV with lots of satellite channel selections. The bathroom has a shower (no shower/tub) with clear glass sliding doors and lots of decent body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. They do have large vehicle parking on site but it is a bit limited and you may need to back in off the highway.…
The breakfast time rush was handled beautifully by Terry . She was exceptional and efficient! the hotel was wonderful and the staff was great! I would definitely stay there again and will recommend it to others.
Traveling for work can be trying. I just want to give a shout out to this hotel. Management really cares what people think about their hotel and it shows. Front desk staff (Kirsten and Jill) really went the extra mile to ensure my stay was going to work for me. I appreciate good service and this place is top notch. Don't pass it up.
