We stayed at Hampton Inn Sandusky Milan for one night while traveling back to Chicago from Boston area. The hotel is right off I80 and check in was a breeze. Woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The king room was decent size for the two of us plus our small dog. Everything was very clean and well kept up. The breakfast was pretty standard Hampton fare but we really appreciated the overall cleanliness of the breakfast area. Overall this was a very good value and a nice final stop on our journey home.
Spent one night at the Hampton Inn. We had a 2 queen studio suite which was huge! Enjoyed the separate sitting area with a sofa. Hot breakfast in the morning was fabulous! Hotel was clean, spacious, and had nice sitting areas in the hotel as well as outside. Great stay while passing through!
The hotel is extremely quiet, has lovely decor, and definitely has helpful, friendly staff. Beds were comfortable; the room was well-equipped with anything we needed. I tried the pool (quite chilly) and the large hot tub (holds perhaps 10), and found the facility nicely maintained and very clean. Breakfast was excellent. We needed to find a place for dinner after 9 pm and a staff member told us where we could eat. Hotel is convenient to the highway and appeared to be fairly full for a Monday night.
I was very impressed by the cleanliness of this hotel. Many hotels have had their standards drop since covid but this hotel was VERY clean. The gym and pool were decent too. We loved our 2 Queen and sofabed suite which was double the size of an average room. We were a bit disappointed by the lack of amenities. There was no hot chocolate packets at the coffee/tea bar and we always find them at Hampton Inns. Also, the breakfast was missing items found in Hampton Inns like boiled eggs, bananas and toppings. I know these are small things but we are so used to them after staying at Hampton Inns over the years.
Nice clean Hampton. Morgan on staff was great. We could not have picked a better place to stay overnight. Recommended a good place to eat. Clean and breakfast was great. Rooms spacious. Good protocols at hotel. Pretty close to town square. Wish we could have seen more of the town
This hotel located between Cleveland and Toledo is conveniently located 2 minutes off of I-80 (Ohio turnpike). The hotel is very clean, well-managed and friendly. We stopped here on our way back home to Michigan after staying in Hilton properties in Toronto and NYC. This was BY FAR our most spacious and beautiful room we saw along the way despite spending so much more for “top tier” rooms elsewhere. The rooms, in particular the suites, and very spacious. The first floor has a nice pool (although very hot and humid) and a decent fitness center. They have an outdoor area that features a gas round top fireplace and a gas grill (for guests to use I think) and beautiful seating, although it didn’t look like this space was open yet in mid-June. This is truly a gem on the I-80 corridor. Also great for folks visiting Cedar Point, especially if you have folks with you not interested in roller coasters. They will be very happy hanging out in the spacious suites. One side note—Jim’s Pizza Box is amazing. They deliver everything from pizzas to subs, calzones, pasta, salads, appetizers—even beer and wine. They were super nice, super fast, and the food was awesome. 6/5 in my book.…
We were traveling to a family wedding and needed a place to stay, but we didn't want to spend too much money. Our two adult sons were traveling with us, and we had agreed to share a room. To our surprise it was a very spacious suite with two queen size beds and a pull-out sofa. Everything was very clean in our room and we enjoyed our stay. Only issue was breakfast. There was only one lady working trying to keep everyone fed. I was told there were eggs, but we never got any. There were some sausages and yogurt left. The tables were sticky, and the floors were dirty. But the poor lady never stopped working. I guess there is a staff shortage everywhere, but I would've sent somebody to help her clean while she was taking care of the food. Other than that, we had a clean and spacious room and we would be back if we ever need to go back to Milan.…
This is conveniently located at the Ohio Turnpike and about 15 minutes from Cedar Point. There are many stores and restaurants north in the Sandusky area or there is also a variety of the same in nearby Norwalk. When checking in, as a Hilton Diamond Member I received a complimentary upgrade which was greatly appreciated. The hotel was clean, updated and breakfast was good.
Came for a volleyball tournament and we were taken care of very well. The room and breakfast were exactly what we expected. Their cleaning policies were top notch and the service was friendly, we plan on staying here for our upcoming tournaments.
Stayed on Saturday night of Thanksgiving weekend. Rooms were up to expectations at a Hampton Inn, but there was no soap in the room When we went to the front desk the manager indicated there was no soap in the whole hotel and offerend an extra bottle of shampoo and suggested we use that as soap. Manager also indicated that other Hampton Inn properties were experiencing soap and conditioner sortages.
