I stayed one night at the Salt Fork State Park campground as I wanted to spend two days kayaking in the reservoir. The campgrounds were easy to find, check in was easy, and finding my tent site was simple. Even though I went in the middle of the week the campground was still very busy around check in time. We were there celebrating parents' 60th wedding anniversary. Parents stayed at lodge but 3 families stayed at campground. The sites were more than generous with space and clean. Park officials made several drive thrus which made made me feel like they were making sure that all was well. The only problem I had was that the water fountain in my...

We stayed 7/3-7/6. We stayed in the main campground, although we were only tent camping. There were mostly HUGE campers w/ some tents, but very few tent only campers. We did see the primitive campsites while we were there (down the main road a bit), and these looked okay. I'm not sure they had flush toilets or showers, a must...

Just spent the weekend at Rocky Fort Campground. Staff were so helpful and nice. Campground was clean and well maintained. There was so many free things to do, adults and kids. Indoor pool, clubhouse (with fitness center and pool tables), a local rodeo was happening the weekend we were there and scenic views to enjoy. The resort staff also let...
