This resort was stunning & peaceful located along the Cache de Poudre River deep in the canyon. Super clean facilities, friendly owner & staff, knowledgeable about the area & generous souls. Very reasonable rates. The drive to the resort is simply amazing!
1st-we have been coming to this hotel for years. It was getting run down and then got new owners. This hotel is close to the Bay , the beach, camping and close to restaurants . it's a really comfy friendly place. They are still working on some remodels, however the hotel is really looking Wonderful. I had more pictures of our room however I accidentally deleted an lol. This is one of the larger rooms we had 2 beds and a pull out foot on full kitchen And plenty of room for all of us. If you ever need anything they're only a phone call away and they are started doing their Mini breakfast is again. Breakfast would be the only kind of drawback they don't offer a lot but at least it's something to get you going for the day and it's included in your fee for the room. If you get a chance go on down and check it out it's a wonderful place to stay, nothing cancer, however very comfortable, , very friendly and and very very clean!!!!…
That’s right, I said ‘guests’! The staff was incredible, responsive and friendly. But, oh dear, the guests were downright rude, rowdy, disrespectful and loud. Topped off by 2 nights in a row of fire alarms caused by a guest.

My girlfriends and I booked a girls trip this past weekend (Aug 19 - Aug 22, 2022) at Put In Bay Resort and Conference Center. The room was average at best, nothing horrid but nothing about that room said "Grand Suite" and nothing about the hotel boasts "resort". First complaint would be the refrigerator in our room that did not work. At first management was rude but then did bring us a new fridge. That's where management's hospitality ended! The hotel tells you that you have to rent your golf carts at certain vendors, which we did. But what they don't tell you is that management has keys to the golf carts as well as the locks that they give you for your safety to keep others from being able to steal your cart. On Saturday morning we woke up to our cart missing. After contacting the golf cart company they were able to GPS our cart. It was parked across the street from our hotel by the condo units. This is not where we had parked it. I was aggravated to say the least and had assumed another guest of the island had stolen it for a joy ride. However later that evening we again parked our cart in front of the hotel and when we came down maybe 45 minutes later the cart was gone again! This was ridiculous. I called the cart company and they informed me that they would GPS my cart and call me back (they never called back). I saw that there were cameras so we went to the front desk and asked if we could see the footage and were told they couldn't access the camera footage because the manager had stepped out. We walked outside again waiting on the call back from the cart company and low and behold our golf cart rounded the corner and parked. It was the hotel manager who had stolen our cart!!!! I could not believe it. When confronted by our group all he could say was that he had to run to the store. So that justifies stealing property from a hotel patron!!!! Really!!! He was very aloof about the situation and just kept trying to shove a $20 bill at us to make up for it and then walked off back into the hotel. I was floored! Do not stay at this property as you can not trust the shady management at all. I will never be returning to this establishment and I warn others to do the same.…
Location is great, but service & accommodations get worse and worse every year. 2022 was out last stay here. Put your money towards something you will enjoy. This is not vacation-worthy. Livable, yes, but not worth the money. Primary issues: - Past 2 years, my credit card gets hacked immediately after booking. - Been staying in the 8-person villa for about 7 years. They have never been renovated or replaced a thing. Curtains are disgusting, decor is outdated. - Beds squeak and pillows are extremely worn out and flat. Appear to never have been replaced. - Bath towels are extremely worn out and tiny. - They do not provide soap or shampoo/conditioner for the shower. - There used to be a table on the front porch of each villa (in front of the sectional), but those were removed this year. How do they expect up to 8 people to sit down and eat or drink with no table?? Our favorite part of this trip is staying at the villa and day drinking/playing cards on the porch. Was difficult this year without the table. - The safe has not worked the past 2 years we’ve been there. - Ice maker in freezer didn’t work. Only credit I can give is that the villa was clean, but the place needs A LOT of work.…
Two older people requested a handicap room ...no hand rail in the bathroom or any place in the room.We had one desk chair in our room....no other place to sit down. PLEASE DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE....dirty and smelly .
Absolutely a ZERO! We came here for my daughters bachelorette party. It has the vibe of Spring Break. The Villa my daughter and friends were staying in was spacious, unfortunately the floors were so filthy our feet turned so black after decorating. A security guard named “ Luke “ has some control issues, he walks around and disrespects customers. In all my years of working as a nurse, I have never been so disrespected by a individual. He walked around the resort causing conflict. There is a way to treat people, I understand there are a lot of issues with the environment of drinking and visitors to the island bring, but I do not expect to be treated like a child, his co workers even saw his behavior. He needs conflict resolution training.
If you are looking to stay in PIB and have a great time do NOT stay at this hotel!! They will tell you, that you are not allowed any visitors in your room, not even for a few minutes. They will tell you, that you are not allowed to take your continental breakfast to your room, you have to eat in the small little room in the lobby. The "security guard" Luke has a serious authority complex! He yells at customers and threatens to have you kicked out if you even say something he doesn't like. We cleaned our room and left it spotless before leaving because we knew they would give us a hard time about getting our security deposit back as I witnessed them doing this to many guests at check out. They did give me my full deposit back only after they did a thorough inspection of the room, and left us waiting in the lobby for 25 minutes while inspecting the room to "approve" giving me my deposit back. The hotel is nice and clean, but if you're looking to have a great time and have the freedom to do what you want in a hotel you are paying big money to stay in... this is not the spot for you! I really wish someone would have warned me about all their protocols before booking this place.…
The island of Put in Bay can be fun for couples and families with teenagers. The young adults enjoyed the usages of the golf cart and various restaurants that the island has to offer. We have stayed at the Put-in-Bay Resort Hotel and Conference Center and their Villas, a couple times, and both events had their challenges. If you would like to book ahead of time, it is very difficult to get in contact with anyone at the reservation office during the off season. I have emailed and called, and found that the response time varied from days to weeks. Both times that we booked, there were problems with holding our reservation even though a deposit was given. This last visit, in June of 2022, we contacted the office the week before our arrival to discover that they had misbooked us to a smaller Villa. During the process of trying to rectify the situation, the customer service was terrible. She was rude and disrespectful. Amber admitted to the error, but attempted to blame us, and made little effort to offer a solution. The burden was on us to try and find a workable solution. When asked for some compensation for our inconvenience, Amber flat out said NO, and offered to refund the deposit if we wanted to cancel. We ended up having to split our days and the group to smaller accommodations. It was a hassle to pack up in the middle of our stay, and to stay in smaller rooms when we intended to stay in a larger Villa. We traveled with a large group who booked 6 of the 10 Villas, so we had no choice but to be inconvenienced.…
