We are a family of 4 who booked the 3 room suite for our family trip. We stayed 3 nights. This hotel is PERFECT. The beds were comfortable. The fridge and microwave were just right. We had 2 bathrooms which was a treat! Our highlight of the trip was swimming & hanging in the hot tub in the evening after big days at Cedar Point. We also ate our dinner outside at the picnic tables. I would like to mention 3 staff in particular who were awesome - Brittney, Sandy and Becca (I feel I might not have that quite right...whomever cleans). They were all super friendly, helpful, suggested some awesome stuff, went out of their way to make sure we were greeted and comfortable and made us feel like we were special guests. This place was so clean. And easy. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I will also bring other families here so we can all have our own space but still share a group experience!…
My family stayed at this adorable place for 2 nights/3 days and we were extremely impressed. It was in a convenient location to area shopping and of course Cedar Point. The room we booked was a 2 bedroom suite with a small kitchen. It also had 2 bathrooms. It was clean, spacious and just what we needed to fit our family. What I enjoyed the most about this place was all the amenities for the kids. The pool was fantastic and the water slides were a hit! They also had a basketball hoop out back which our older kids LOVED! It was a pleasant surprise when they saw the hoop. They also had corn hole boards & grills to use. It was a great time. I also don't want to forget about the staff!! They were great! The house keepers (Brenda, & I forget the other ladies name) recognized how exhausted/ hot we all were and hustled quick to get us in our cool room. So nice of them. We will definitely stay here again & recommend it to others. It is a hidden gem in Sandusky!…
Well maintained, independent hotel. Grounds nicely landscaped, with giant trees on property, baskets of blooming flowers hanging on outside balconies, roses in bloom by the pool. Room very clean & neat. Our King room on the small side but adequate. Pool has slides, looks like fun at night, although we did not swim. Back part of property has swings, nice green lawn that looked perfect for walking barefoot. Bed comfortable, linens of good quality, pillow comfortable. A/C cooled the room really well but could not hear the TV when it kicked on. Very nice property, would stay here again.
Was a get away from home for our anniversary ... was very quiet and the pool was BEAUTIFUL .. very relaxing. Sandy who runs it was very personable with us and asked if there was anything we needed, she made us feel very welcomed. Had nice breakfast choices too.
Prior to our one night stay in early September, we had spent a couple nights at a Marriott just outside Buffalo, NY. For half the price, this little spot was twice as reliable. Art on the walls bigger than the TVs. Clean sheets, hot water, fluffy bagels, a kind staff, a quiet, local setting. Solid option if you’re looking for a restful, budget stay.
Very nice rooms! Very friendly staff and very affordable. The pool and hot tub were very nice. We really had no complaints except one of our non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke, but it was our choice to just stay in the room. We were able to check in 45 min early!
I booked for the pool but was very impressed overall. The place was clean, the breakfast was yummy(and free), and the staff was friendly! It was a great few days away and we’ll consider another booking next time we come to Sandusky!
Trip to Cedar Point. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Nice grounds and pool. Breakfast was fair. I wish they would have had sausage or bacon to go with the pancakes. Things to note-shower heads were very low. For reference, I’m 5’4” and had to stoop to get my head under. If you are a light sleeper you should be aware there is a train that goes through several times in the middle of the night. The pool is open late in the evening so there was quite a bit of noise.
My two teenage sons, husband and I went to Cedar Point and needed an affordable place to stay. Standard rooms were small for four adult sized people. I'm not sure what got updated. Certainly not the bathrooms or the furniture. Everything was very clean; however, and that is very important. The grounds are very nicely landscaped. I was impressed with all of the flower baskets! The pool looked nice but we didn't use it. Breakfast was good, but only hot item was pancakes that you made yourself. Breakfast area was very spacious but needs updating. I can tell the people who own this hotel and the staff care and work hard to make sure their guests are comfortable and happy.
Starting off come in to check in and I was greeted by Brittany one of the friendliest front desk people I have ever met. The room was very clean and spacious. Pool and hot tub were great. Also they had breakfast which is as a nice touch. Our only complaint was the shower head was too low me and my brother (I’m 6 ft he’s 6’2”) had to duck to wash out heads. Overall though it’s great especially with its proximity to cedar point will deff be staying here again.
