Sorry, but this is not your Pixar hotel stay. No Magic. Musty smell, cigarette burns in comforter, and bugs in the bathroom. Room is outdated, and broken down. However, staff were nice. Sandusky is notorious for having run down motel/ hotel rooms, and TBH, there are worse places to stay. When planning your visit to Cedar Point or the Sandusky area, spend a little more to stay somewhere decent, it’s truly money worth spending!

We stayed at this property many times last summer with no issues. This visit was a different experience, check in was quick and easy as was check out. Once we got to our room on the back side of the building we were greeted with a parking lot party that had drug use out in the open, one member of the party walked over a checked out our room as we unloaded the car. Outside our door there were brown stains on the concrete (blood or worse) once in the room it smelled musty and the floor was dirty and sticky there was hair on the bathroom counter. The staff knew about the party going on because our room was close to the laundry room. We were shocked at the difference in the property this year compared to last year.

Clean and affordable! Despite their system being down we were able to check in without a problem. I returned later to request to stay an extra night and the person at the desk was very accommodating! The room was clean and spacious. The mattresses were comfortable. We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. It was also very close to Cedar Point. We would not hesitate to stay here in the future!

Our room 219, two king beds, was very nice, looked to be recently renovated. AC was cold. We stayed Monday and Tuesday nights after visiting Cedar Point amusement park. We arrived to the hotel to check in around 10:30 pm, after the park closed. The parking lot was super sketchy with multiple people sitting in their cars smoking pot. Many of the people staying there Monday night had their hotel doors open, with multiple people hanging around the entry ways. Not all of the rooms are of the same quality. Our room was very nice. The front desk employees were very nice and professional. We did not utilize the complimentary breakfast or the pool. The Wi-Fi signal was very weak. I would stay here again because the price is about half of the other nearby hotels and the room that we stayed it was perfectly fine. This hotel suited our needs perfectly fine but it might not be a good fit for everyone. A good thing to remember when booking this hotel is to compare prices to other nearby hotels, at the time of year that we stayed it was about half price of the other hotels in the area. If a deluxe experience is important to you, you might want to pay more and stay elsewhere.

The not so great outweighed the good. First the good---beds were decent and comfy, towels were fresh and sheets, no hed bugs, and they have a pool. Now for the not so good---there was blood on our mattress pad, there was some kind of patch on the mattress, dirty carpet, holes in the walls, mold around the shower. I have no idea what was on the bathroom wall, they look like boogers and a creepy guy kept watching everyone in the pool

The hotel needs lots of tender loving care. It does not appear to have been refurbished in years! Needs paint in many places. Breakfast is now Grab & Go because of covid. The fruit and the Mandarin oranges were excellent. Prices are high for the quality of the state. That's what you get for being close to Cedar Point!

We stayed here for 2 nights during a trip to Cedar Point. We knew this wasn't anything fancy but we really appreciated the two king-sized beds which comfortably fit 4 exhausted people after a long day at the park. The room was small, clean-enough, the air-conditioning worked well and we all slept great----these were the only things that really mattered to us. Grounds weren't pretty or that clean, doors are exterior, but we felt safe in the area. Front desk staff were kind, friendly and helpful. If you just need a place to sleep close to CP, this is an OK option.

I have to say that the front desk people were extremely nice. The room was less than I expected. Fairly clean, but the mattress was worn out and the toilet seat needs replacing asap. The absolute worse thing about this place was the noise. We went as a family and booked 3 rooms for 2 & 3 nights. Friday and Saturday nights were party central in the parking lot until 3am. Unacceptable. Our son was at the end near the office, so just had road noise. Our granddaughter was above rooms that had many people in and out all night and yelling to each other across the lot. We were upstairs near the pool and had all the yelling and loud music until 3 am. I had hoped it would stop but should have notified the front desk. I would never stay there again.

This place is already dirty and has bed bugs. To top it off, they’re racist and rude over such trashy and outdated rooms. I go to so many places and am able to check in (we went to a hotel down the street cleaner) with the same type of reservation and checked in no problem. Jay the manager was beyond rude and hostile. Wouldn’t check me in until I verified employment which I told him TO call the hotel I MANAGE. He also said he’s calling the police, why? I don’t know. He just cancelled our reservations for no reason. I’d like their corporate to call me. Again RACIST, BED BUG INFESTED ROOMS.
