When I arrived, the front desk asked me to let them know if I wanted the room clean or clean towels. After the second night, I asked them at 7am to please clean my room and provide clean towels. I mentioned to them that a tip was left for the cleaners. I return at 5pm and not only is my room not clean, but there are no clean towels. Also, my $100 tip is still there. I called down and they said they were short-staffed and just couldn't get to my room to clean it nor could they bring clean towels. How disappointing and I felt inexcusable!

Ok, the room was okay. Bed was comfortable. But really,over $200 and I CAN'T get a cup of coffee? I went down to the lobby for what I thought would be the usual continental breakfast, but surprise, surprise, There is a someone SELLING coffee and breakfast items!?! How much does it cost a hotel to provide coffee and tea to guests? Was it worth $200 for the room alone?No way - it was just a room. For what you get, it's not worth it.

I am so sorry that you assumed that we had free coffee/tea or the "usual" continental breakfast. Hotels have different policies and perks depending on where you stay. Check out the amenities section and that will tell you what each hotel offers before you pay $200 for a room.

Not an overall bad experience but certainly not the best either. Foyer is nice. Common areas are also nice and inviting. However, the second floor hallway smelled strongly of weed, the indoor pool water was very cold, the magnetic lock to the pool has to be opened by the staff, the room was small and the “bistro” is a bit of a joke. Very limited menu and there was only 1 person taking the orders, making coffees and cooking. While we loved Toledo, we will absolutely be staying elsewhere next time we visit.

My stay was pretty good but the problem came after I checked out and the next morning I realized I had left something in the room and called the hotel and they said no one stayed in the room after me, but when they checked the closet where I left my hats there was nothing in there!!

Was passing through on Thanksgiving Eve and stayed the night .... Staff was nice, very close to 75, and looks new ... Certainly looked better than the two other places it is wedged between...was disappointed no breakfast in the morning, but understandable on Thanksgiving morning I suppose....

Our stay was disappointing from beginning to end. We asked for extra pillows and towels which we had to go get ourselves. The room was not clean and air conditioning was broken. The Bistro, which was part of why we chose this place, was only open in the morning as far as we could tell. I was looking forward to having a cocktail without having to drive anywhere afterwards but couldn't. All but one staff member we encountered was rude, even though it wasnt busy at the time. The whole experience was disappointing. If we go back to visit our son again, we'll probably stay at the Hampton or Holiday Inn Express right next door.

If you don’t look too hard, it’s nice. I tend to have an extreme eye for detail and am always reviewing every hotel to the T. If I ignore that, everything is good. Check in was easy and the front desk woman was kind. The room looked nice and clean. The Paul Mitchell products were nice to have. When my wound up children starting jumping on the beds, that’s when my eye for detail kicked in. Don’t look at the mattress or mattress pad when the sheets come off. Definitely stained. There were some fresh, not set in yellow marks on the thin coverlet that’s on the top of the bed which we promptly took off. These are to replace old, bulky comforters housekeeping never cleaned in the old days so why aren’t they clean? One towel had some questionable marks that made it look unclean. There were hairs on the bathroom floor that weren’t ours as we just arrived. Long and short. The pool area was rough. The pool was cloudy. There were at least 6 towels on the floor around the tiny pool deck. There was a bandaid (!!) on the side deck. The dreaded bandaid at a pool! It would be nice if they went in throughout the day and cleaned it up. It’s not their fault people are rude and disgusting but…they are. Everything else was fine. The beds were comfortable, the sheets seemed clean. The area around it is full of fast food which was convenient for us. The lobby looked nice. Parking was a breeze. I don’t know that people who aren’t looking would spot what I did but for clean freaks, just be aware and for the hotel, housekeeping should be a little more thorough getting rid of stained items.…

Do not stay here if you are doing things in Toledo. It is pretty far North of the city and the neighborhood is not the greatest. The lady and young man at the check-in desk were outstanding and helpful, however, the gentleman at the desk when I checked out was indifferent. There were no luggage carts available at check-in or Check-out. The room was clean and quiet.

Upon arriving the hotel appears to be very nice, almost upscale in its design. Unfortunately, the rooms are not well maintained to the standard of the brand. The first room we were given had no thermostat (and it was cold) so the friendly front desk woman gave us another room. The second room had two Queen beds, one of which was broken. We just slept in the other one so it was fine but it is indicative of questionable quality. Additionally, there were other issues such as marks on the wall in the main living space and toothpaste stains on the wall by the sink. With greater attention to detail from housekeeping and maintenance, this would be a great hotel.

For nearly $100 a nite, this is a great deal. This hotel feels brand new. Room nice, good size, not too big or too small. Nice bathroom with really unique and nice design. Imagine that the shower tap is on the opposite side of the shower head... so you don’t get sprayed when testing it. Bed comfy. Pillows good. Lobby, bar sitting area really modern. There are two other big chain hotels nearby, I can’t believe they would be near as nice as this one. Staff was great. Swanky! Clean!
